My daughter is making chili and spinach dip. I'm bringing chips, cornbread and a veggie platter. I got little football cookies for my grandsons.
I notice the stores around here have raised prices on ground beef this week. Annoying, since they know people are making chili.

If we go to a party, I'm making a cheeseball. If we skip the party, we will probably order pizza or do something easy like that. I usually make a bunch of snacks if we are staying home but DH won't commit to either going to the party or staying home, so I didn't buy a bunch of stuff to make snacks. Not rushing out and doing anything when he can't make a decision!

Green grapes dipped in white chocolate and crushed peanuts. They're "healthier" crack.

I need a healthy WW-friendly thing to bring. We're going to a friend's house, and she requested only healthy snacks. She's serving hummus, vegetables, and fruit.
Ha Ha, I told my DH to eat hearty before we go.

Dh will be traveling most of the week, so we are staying home.
Instead of junk food I am making a mini Thanksgiving dinner.

Buffalo wings, little smokies in bbq sauce, queso, salsa and tortilla chips, veggies and dip, pita bread and spinach dip, potato chips, and cannoli dip with pieces of cannoli shell to dip into it. Monday night's dinner will be soup and super bowl leftovers. Last year on super bowl Sunday, we got a foot and a half of snow and I had just gotten out of the hospital the day before, so super bowl was some kind of scrappy frozen snacks for ds and dh, and rotisserie chicken and noodles for me.

I am making homemade mini corndogs using sliced kielbasa, cheeseburger dip with toasted naan, garlic parmesan chicken wings, deviled eggs, dill dip, carrots, celery and skinny green beans to dip. Then I'm baking frozen taquitos and mozzarella sticks. Chips and salsa. Homemade monster cookies and maybe some apple muffins. I still have tons of apples from my tree that need to be used up.

No party here, but we always do an appetizer dinner on Super Bowl Sunday. Trying to keep it moderately healthy this year with a veggie tray, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, shrimp ring and baked Lays.

It's my sonny's bday tomorrow too and he gets to pick everything he likes. Shrimp cocktail, nachos and dip, BBQ Ribeye steak, baked potato loaded, steamed asparagus, greek salad and of course black forest birthday cake!!! We all can't wait for the food and the Super Bowl action!
