I am making salmon tonight and looking for a tried and true recipe. Usually I just throw some random spices on it and bake it (unless it is warm enough to grill) but want something new. What is your favorite way to make baked salmon?

I usually brush with olive oil and sprinkle with Lemon Pepper seasoning then grill until it flakes and is still very moist. I take a little butter and mix with red pepper and freeze-dried chives and put a little dollop on each piece after it comes off the grill.
ETA: Oops, you wanted baked ideas. Got nothing, sorry.

Well it might be too late for you because my favorite is to marinate it overnight. I don't like any other salmon except for this. The flavor is fabulous. Thanks for the idea, I think I'll do this one night next week!
Salmon (marinade overnight) 1/4 c. white wine 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. ginger olive oil honey
For 1-1/2 pounds of salmon, mix above ingredients together and marinate overnight. I bake on 425 for about 25 mins.

I can't find the recipe for the life of me but there's one I've made a few times that's really good and different. You marinate the salmon in a mixture of orange juice and lemon juice for about a half hour before cooking. After removing from the marinade you season with pepper, cumin, and a few other seasonings. Bake or fry. It's delicious.

I recently found this recipe, and it is my very favorite now. 1. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, onion powder and red pepper flakes. 2. Mix a marinade of: lemon juice vinegar EVOO sugar parsley garlic chopped green onions. 3. Marinate for 15 minutes to 8 hours. 4. Bake or pan fry. Hmmmmm. It is so addicting - the only way I ever fix salmon anymore! The recipe is extremely forgiving, so I don't really measure. For instance, I like extra green onions in mine. ETA: I dump all of the marinade in the pan/oven with the salmon. I also love the flavor the cooked green onions and scrape up every last little bit of goodness. Lisa

This recipe is for broiled salmon and super easy & fast: Broiled Salmon with Mustard Herb Glaze. If using dried herbs, 1/2 of each will do, you can substitute chicken stock if you don't want to use wine. We prefer to use a Brown Deli Mustard over Dijon.

Usually I just throw some random spices on it and bake it (unless it is warm enough to grill) My favorite salmon recipe is pan fried or grilled. I've never baked salmon. If the weather isn't good enough for grilling on the BBQ I just do it in a pan. (Truth be told I almost always cook it in a pan, much easier to clean than a BBQ.) This would be my deathbed meal: Pan Fried Salmon with Thai Green RisottoThe risotto part of the recipe is a bit fiddly, but the salmon itself is really delicious. The marinade is super easy.

Mine is similar to tampascrapper recipe, except I mix half mayo, half Dijon mustard, spread it on the salmon and top with chopped pecans.

Just really easy stuff. Since salmon is fatty (but good fat) there is no need for oil/butter, etc.
I just sprinkle old bay on it, bake at 350 for 18 minutes and it's done.
Boring but good.

Salt , pepper. Place in baking dish. Pour milk in so the bottom half of fish is covered. Dot with butter. DeLUSHious.
