I am doing monthly photo challenges for myself and invite anyone who is interested to join along. 
February's challenge is to take some photos that are a different type than you normally take. If you are mostly into landscapes, try some portraits, or vice versa. If you've been thinking of doing some product or food photography, but haven't gotten around to it yet, give it a try! If you normally take posed portraits, maybe try some candids or lifestyle photography. If you always use natural light and your flash unit sits in a drawer most of the time, drag it out and dust it off.
The idea is to step out of your comfort zone and try something different.
