Hello Ladies! The last few days have been a real challenge for me with my eating. I've been craving sugary things sooooo much and I can't get the cravings out of my head. Sat was DS' bday, and I made him cupcakes. I wanted to only lick the spatula, but that just unleashed the demon and before the day was over I had eaten...wait for it...FOUR cupcakes!!!!!!! Yesterday, I actually sent my husband to buy snacks and I ate some cookie dough and chips and dip for dinner. Today, some more cookie dough found its way into my mouth. I doubled my workouts all three days, which probably helps in a way but then again probably is just making me even more hungry.
I know...throw those things out! Man up! Stop obsessing over food! All easier said than done sometimes. I'm starting Week 6 of Hammer & Chisel and seeing great results, not on the scale but in my body. I can actually do pull-ups on a bar now. I couldn't do more than one when I started this. So overall, I'm still winning. Just wanted to share my struggle--we all have those days, or in my case, three in a row :/

I'm pretty proud of myself today. Prepped all my breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for the week for me and the kids yesterday. Today while I'm teaching my last period class, some kids from the neighboring classroom come in with a cupcake and a crepe from their class celebration. I was teaching when they came in so I asked them to leave it on my desk. When class was over and all students were out of sight, I dumped them straight into the trash can. I felt slightly bad but not enough to eat them! I worked too damn hard for my 2.6lb loss...not screwing that up for a cupcake! Anyway, pretty good day. Love hearing about everyone's day and successes..and even difficulties. It helps me remember we all struggle, but eventually make it to the other side. It's also so great how supportive everyone here is. Love it. <3

I lost two pounds last week, making my total loss right now 13 pounds. I'm so, so thrilled. I keep trying on old clothes and some things are starting to fit which is really exciting. On Superbowl Sunday I pretty much didn't eat anything and was outside doing barn chores and horseback riding for most of the day. Today I skipped lunch and just haven't been hungry at all. Lets hope this feeling of minimal appetite and fullness lasts the rest of the week!
