I know a lot of people have gotten rid of Cricut cartridges and moved on to something else; but I still like my Expression. So, while people are selling a lot of cartridges - I'm adding to my collection. What are you favorites and why do you like them? Thanks,

I like Plantin schoolbook for the very basic letters. I also like Lyrical letter, because they are a little more playful.
I rarely use my shape cartridges. I need to make an effort!

The one cartridge I used almost every image on (and love the font) is Life's a Beach. I made a Hawaii scrapbook from a trip we took, and used a ton of the images from that cartridge, the font also seems to work well for scrapping trips to the park.
My 2nd most used (I don't own a ton, I think I have 10-12 cartridges) is probably Create-a-Critter or Hello Kitty one.

I have lots of little boys to make cards and pages for, so I like "Beep Beep!" and "Boys will be Boys". I also like "Paper Dolls Every Day" because it contains lots of elements for each season of the year.
The CTMH cartridges are very versatile, and work with their stamps. My fav of those is "Artbooking" because it has some cool backgrounds as well as good titles and images.

The one I really, really use the most is George. I don't know if you could even buy it separate, it came with my baby Cricut a million years ago. It has a bunch of basic designs ... circle, square, triangle.... I use it all the time. I also use Going Places frequently. It's great for travel pages, but also has really good universal icons; arrows, cat and dog shape, sun, and cloud. My Mickey font cartridge gets used for Disney pages. It's probably the alphabet I use the most. For some reason I don't really use my font cartridges. I should try to use them more. I also don't use any that require cutting several layers to make the design. I don't have the patience for that. Edited to add - I just noticed that Going Places has that globe on a stand icon that is so popular right now. I got excited when I found it. Used it on a page yesterday. LOL

Close to My Heart cartridges are among my favorites. Elegant Edges is good, too. I have a few other favorites, but my mind is drawing a blank at the moment.

It would probably be the George Cartridge. My Expression came with a Cricut classic font I use almost as much.

I still love my Expression. If I had to narrow it down to only a few must haves it would be:
1) Elegant Edges 2) Create A Critter 3) Baby Steps (I am working on my daughter's baby album)

I still love my cartridges too. I bought the Explore recently. I put my beautiful Aqua Expressions in my husbands art garage. Missed it so much I put it back in my room. My DH said to me "Why did you take it out of your room. That is a great machine." I already felt guilty enough about it he didn't need to add to it, lol. I have close to 100 cartridges. I do really use them. My can't live without cartridges are- Hello Kitty Greetings, Hello KItty Font, Summer in Paris, Art Noveau, & Croc's Rule. Don't laugh about the last one. I love Crocodiles. I really rely on the George Cartridge.
