First hugs for you for sharing how you feel.
I lost my mojo for a while but seeing my stash doesn't bother me. If it did I'd probably pack it up, out of sight and then if I still felt the same I'd sell it or give it away.
I don't use my Ali kits as much as I'd like. My free time is in the evening and I'm pretty tired out by then. When I have energy I make and when I don't I don't.
It was my son's love luncheon at school today, he's in first grade. I made 20 clear plastic shaker bookmarks using my fuse, my avery elle dies, SC wood veneers (stars and little people) and some sequins. All from my stash and boy oh boy they made me happy.
Do what you feel is right for you. Life is short. There is no right or wrong.

This makes me as sad as when I read yet another LSS is closing. I completely understand. But I am still sad about it. You have been branded a scrapbooker and Pea forever @devildog.

I'm always sorry to hear of someone giving up on memory keeping because it brings me so much joy. I feel like I am a scrapbooker, whether I scrapbook or not. I hope you will check out The Scrap Gals, devildog and especially the show "The Intervention" and maybe something we say will inspire you to hang in there but maybe you just need a good long break! I've had that myself and came back to it. You're very smart not to give up your stuff! I would keep the things that still make you happy and spark something in you. Thanks skipping stones and elsabelle for recommending our show!

You have to do what makes you happy. I used to be a chronological scrapbooker. Everything I took pictures of went in an album. Then in 2009 I didn't scrapbook for nearly a year. I felt too far behind and that made scrapbooking feel like work. I got back in to it and now I just scrapbook what I want to: a vacation, a birthday, whatever. I don't feel pressure to catch up. I also make way more cards than I used to. I can try different techniques and then give them away.
If if something doesn't bring me joy, I try to get rid of it. It isn't always easy.
