Hi. I am new here and still trying to find my way around. Thought one way to get to know people and for you to get to know me was to throw up a few of my pages in the Flickr 2peas group gallery.
I scrapbook my grandkids, and right now am working with some photos from this past fall of baby Ryley and his big brother Jacob who turned 2 in December. As you can see, I use a variety of styles depending on my mood, the photos I have, and how much time at my disposal. I tend to mix old and new product if the colors and themes match.
But my major focus is the story behind the photos in most cases. And I usually have at least 3 photos on a page. Of course there's only one photo and no story on one of the pages I just posted, but I usually work in 2 page designs, and for the "Smile" page, there is an unposted facing page with lots of photos and the journaling.
Hoping you have a few minutes to step over there and give me some comments.

welcome.....just found out, I don't know how to use the gallery! But I scrap my gchildren, too. Hi! I like your Easter Snow page. Love that you found some purple/pink winter words paper to go with that sweet photo!
I figured out how to set up a Flickr account, apply to be accepted into the 2peas refugees group, upload some pic's from my computer, and move my photos there from my photostream. All from the instructions in the Member Gallery-How to Use sticky in the Admin portion of this message board. And I am not very techy!
Still haven't figured out how to link a photo to a message and have it show up as a image and not a line of code!

Still haven't figured out how to link a photo to a message and have it show up as a image and not a line of code! I think lisadv wrote these instructions but they seem to have worked for a few people so hopefully will help you too: "For Images. Pull up the image on flickr. In the bottom right corner of the black area is a star, a share arrow and a download arrow. Click the share arrow. Choose your size and the BBCode. Copy the link. Then when you are in Reply mode on the forum, the bottom tabs say either HTML or BBCode. Choose the BBCode tab. I just had to insert the copied text. I didn't even use the link button, I just pasted my text."

grammadee, Welcome! Your layouts are totally adorable! I typically don't do double pages anymore but I LOVE to see them. Yours are super cute.

Thanks so much ladies, for your love here and in the Gallery! And thanks for the instructions for linking a photo. Will try that another time--maybe for one of the challenges.

grammadee - when you copy the BB code on Flickr there will be a box underneath it that has different sizes. If you open the drop down menu you can choose a smaller size. It will remember this as your default if you stay logged in to Flickr. That layout is adorable, I've left you some love in the gallery. Welcome to the pod!

I spotted your layouts in the gallery. So glad you have joined and can find your way around. Follow the instructions from Chinagirl828, originally posted by LisaDV, and you will have no problems. I am very computer challenged and they got me through. You are welcome to come join the Pokey Peas Challenge at any time. Nice to have you here.
