We just got a new modem, an Arris (with Time Warner Cable) and it works fine with the laptops, but it won't connect to the SmartTV for Netflix. I tried using the ethernet cable, and it still won't work. Any suggestions? I am ready to pull out my hair!!

Don't know if this is related but we haven't been able to connect to Netflix for about a week now. Haven't spent much time trying to figure it out but when I did a google search (and a thread here) it seems to be a widespread issue. Good luck and let us know if you figure it out.

I just bought a smart tv and it wouldn't connect to my modem. I called my Internet provider and they reset it remotely. Then it worked. It was odd because everything else on wifi was working correctly until I hooked the new tv up.
