Thank you for checking in. No real news to share. We have been home 2 weeks and we have seen her energy level really go down. Her little,body that was once so strong and sassy is now just tired and worn out as her body starts to go. It is so hard to watch. Today the social worker for hospice came and we started the discussion about arrangements after she passes. It is heart wrenching.
This weekend is our school's "sweetheart" daddy/daughter dance. All I could think today was that we should be thinking about ordering her corsage and matching my husbands tie to her dress, not thinking if we will cremate her or where we will bury her.

I'm so sorry. That was such a heartbreaking update. I wish she was able to pick a dress and go with Daddy as well! My heart aches for you!!

She only can move her right arm and leg a little bit. She has not been able to hug us for so long. She does reach out and holds our hands regularly. Our girl who loved to dance and sing and perform just can't anymore. |
