My BF talked me into it, saying it hurts no worse than tweezing or waxing, it really wasn't painful, just a little ouchy. But, what really, really got to me was the noise, omg. It sounded like someone was sawing my eyebrows, I absolutely hated the noise. If I ever do it again I'll wear earplugs. Anyone else have this reaction?

I prefer threading to waxing. the last few times I had them waxed, I would break out from the wax. With threading I don't have that problem at all.

I prefer threading and get it done regularly, but yes, that sound is a little weird at first. Now I'm so used to it and it goes so quickly that I don't really notice anymore. I paid $55 for a 3 month membership, so I'm going a lot more frequently than I used to.

It is a weird sound bit it doesn't bother me. Love threading over waxing though.

I've thought about doing it but wouldn't want to sit at the kiosk in the mall where everyone can see my hairy face getting worked on. Yeah, on that thread where we said if we could change one thing and I said cooking, I lied. It would be to have a hairless face. The inch-long black ones are going to be the death of me.
