So, I do Stacy Julian's Library of Memories, and I originally chose We R Memory Keeper linen 3-ring albums in Silvertone, Pomegranate, Avocado, and black. I purchased extras but am starting to fill them up and just realized only black is still available online. Now what will I do? I realize this is a "first world problem" but I am so depressed about it!!

I still--years later--miss the Club Scrap albums like they were my best friends.

If you really love the linen 3 ring, I would buy up the black....I felt the same way about the WRMK linen postbound and when they discontinued those, I called WRMK directly and bought about 20 albums at a deep discount. Got whatever colors I could just because I loved the album so much!

I honestly don't think they will bring the other colors back. Maybe you could use a tag in the colors of green, purple, and silver. Then, thread a ribbon through the rings at the top of the binder and attach it that way. So if you use binders in a neutral color, the colored tag would stick out more.

I did all WRMK albums in black and then color-coded the labels. Of course, try to find the black albums anywhere...grrrrrrr.....

Cry.  Maybe this is why I haven't color coded my albums. It's a mish mash, to be sure, but I don't have to have a certain color for the next album. |

I'm just now thinking of the color coding system. I've always used black with the colored ribbon to delineate theme. But I just purchased the WRMK faux leather in pink for my daughters albums, mostly from overstocks.com. I bought 9 albums. I'm hoping that will be enough.
But I've thought about what if I go over. After kicking myself for not buying more albums to begin with. My first thoughts were I could pull certain pages into a separate and differently designed album. Like all birthday pages in one album or all dancing layouts. Maybe all the layouts that are really special to me or tell her something I really want her to know/remember. Maybe something like that could work for you too.
If not, my next thought was I'd wait a bit and then buy all new albums while DH isn't looking....(where's that whistling innocently icon when I need it).

I use a different album with each year, so I only need to make sure I have enough albums for the year (probably four). I'm using this one this year. |

That happened to me with CTMH albums. I use different colors for different decades since I don't scrap chronologically and also do heritage albums. When my rep alerted me, I bought as many as I could and got a huge amount of page protectors. My initial plan was to fill them, then switch to WRMK albums in similar colors. Well, now I guess I need a back up plan. LOL
The important thing that I did was decide that "it is what it is" and to be openminded when the time comes to choose new albums. I'm am kind of glad for the opportunity to check out new albums when the time comes -- but then I'm also at a point in my life where I'm kind of tired of all the ways I've limited myself - but that's another thread for another board! LOL

Truthfully, lots of bad words left my mouth at a loud volume for a long time. Feet might have been be stomped. Fits might have been thrown.  |

Thanks ladies. I have 18 albums so I really don't want to replace all of them!! I only got two of the silver tone so I guess I could replace those with grey and stock up. They just look so nice on my living room shelves as opposed to the shelf of totally random albums.
