I'm glad, because Potomac is a bust and I'm boycotting Jersey, and have given up on Atlanta.
I'm hopeful for Dallas!

e! online
Cary Deuber is an East Coast girl, hailing from Connecticut before spending her childhood in Ohio and making her way to Texas. A certified registered nurse's first assistant, Cary has gone on medical mission trips in third world countries. She lives and works in Dallas with her plastic surgeon husband Dr. Mark Deuber and maintains her own aesthetic injectable practice. She's also a mom to a baby daughter and step-mom to two kids.
I'm sorry to anyone who has this job, but my question is: WHAT IS THIS? Its a nurse's aid, no? I've never heard it so....posh before. A first asst? How many do they have? And good thing the nurse is CERTIFIED And Registered. whoa. Wouldn't want to be some assistant to a fly by night nurse. Good thing she stuck that in there. Clarified that for us.
Again, I'm sorry if I'm offending. I know nothing about anything medical. It just sounds so.... odd to me. Is this normal? I guess around here, they'd just write, CNA, no?

I am pretty sure this means she is licensed and registered to work in the operating room. I could be completely wrong but I remember a school friend who went to school for this.

I've given up on Atlanta. I just can't stand the constant bickering. They sound like a bunch of old ladies!

Oh lord, yet another something to make normal Texans look bad. We don't all speak with drawls, and the people I know who are from Dallas don't have a drawl.

I won't watch Jersey because of Teresa, yeah. Her gall and lack of personal responsibility sicken me. I won't watch anything she's on.

Your comment just made you look like more of a dumbass than any accent ever will. Texas or otherwise.

Heh, you don't THINK you speak with a drawl! (Said by someone who grew up in Arkansas and after 20 years in Connecticut, the drawl still resurrects given the right circumstances--e.g. liquor and phone call to family.) Take pride in your (nonexistent) drawl.

I haven't ever watched a Real Housewives show for more than about 3 minutes, but watching the trailer -- it just makes me think Dallas only has awful plastic surgeons.
Seriously - it wasn't just one of them, it was all of them. What's up with that?

I am psyched. I loved Big Rich Texas when that was on (I think the Style network?) a few years ago!

Take pride in your (nonexistent) drawl. This! I grew up in AR. When DH and I moved to Tampa, his nephews kidded me constantly. "Hey, Aunt Renee, can you say this? That? You sound funny" My DD born and raised in AR doesn't think she has an accent. She said no one at school thinks she is from here. I told her they were just being nice. She tries real hard not to have an accent but she lapses sometimes. When she does, you know exactly where she is from. I know a few Texans. Some have drawls and some don't. I certainly don't think of them as dumbasses!

Take pride in your (nonexistent) drawl. Actually, I do not speak with a drawl. I grew up in Houston in a very diverse community and my parents are from the midwest, as is all of my family. I tell people I'm from Texas, born and raised here, and they don't believe me because I don't have a drawl.

"...maintains her own aesthetic injectable practice."
wait, what?!? She shoots people with Botox and fillers and isn't a dr? I know nurses can give shots, but I would think there's a big difference between a flu shot in the arm and injecting toxins into a face with a complex system of nerves and such. i would think the potential liability wouldn't be worth the money.
