We've been watching (sister and me) ... she's getting mad because of the usual TV non-grip on reality of police work, but I figure it's all make-believe so who cares? I like him, I like her, and am I the only one who thinks this story is headed toward her getting back with her ex? Mark my words (as a retired romance writer, so supposedly I know some things, but not really).  |

I like this show. it reminds me of the dynamics on Sleepy Hollow which is another show I like. if they cancel SH, at least I have Lucifer to fall back on.

I caught part of an episode last week and really liked it. I missed it this week. I really need to DVR it. Of course, I have to warn all of you. If I like a show, it is most certainly doomed.  My most recent 'victim' was the TV show "Forever". Loved that show. So enjoy Lucifer while it's still around.LOL |

I saw a promo somewhere and rolled my eyes at the whole 'devil' thing...then on a whim I watched the first episode and really liked it!
I think at the moment they have the 'mix' just right the jokes are a bit naughty, he's sarcastic and sexy and she's a bit clueless.
The trouble is I can't see it lasting for very long before it gets overdone. I hope they are smart and just do a short season each year, about 10 episodes would be perfect and then it would probably have several seasons in it...but if they have too many episodes and go down the track of most of these shows (he gets sucked back into being evil, she rescues him, they start to fall in love, they break up, they introduce more demons, she turn out to be some sort of angel...) it's going to get cheesy and boring.
If they can resist going the obvious route, and not have too many episodes, this will be fun to watch for a few seasons.

We thought the concept sounded really dumb, but ended up really liking the show. It has also left us with a desire to reference "pound town" as often as possible.

I love the show. He's so handsome and that accent....  Mondays and Fridays are my must see tv nights: Monday: X-Files (at least for another couple weeks) and Lucifer, Friday: Sleepy Hollow and Grimm. I usually watch The Big Bang Theory but this season has bored me so far (except for the Sheldon - Amy episodes) and The Amazing Race doesn't interest me this time. Maybe if it were on another night, I'd go back to watching it. I don't even care enough to dvr it this season. |

But I'm digging it and there isn't anything else for me to watch in that time slot.
It should be available on demand, for those of you with that option from your provider.

I haven't read the comics but have read that fans are a bit confused over this. I've got it recorded. I loved Constantine but it only lasted half a season. |

LOVE Lucifer's sense of humor and wit. Also love Chloe, the detective. She was on Chicago Fire which is another favorite show of mine.
