I hate bras !! As soon as I walk in the house, my shoes come off and then my bra is right after that.

I'm a 38D and bras don't bother me at all. I can't remember the last time I thought I needed to rip one off as soon as I get home. I agree with this- except I'm a 36C. I wear underwire bras and they don't hurt me or bother me. I don't sleep in bras but I prefer having the girls supported most of the time instead of flopping around free and easy.

I was thin and pretty flat chested for much of my life. I thought I wanted bigger boobs. Now that I'm carrying extra weight and sporting DDs, I hate it. Bras ARE torture devices!! ugh!

I'm a 38D and bras don't bother me at all. I can't remember the last time I thought I needed to rip one off as soon as I get home. I don't usually sleep in them, but have been known to sleep in a sports bra a few times so I wouldn't have an excuse to miss a morning workout. I pretty much exclusively wear Cacique balconette bras or Victoria's Secret sports bras. Same here. I am much more comfortable wearing a bra than not - I feel lucky after reading this thread!! Once in awhile when I first get a bra it takes a few wearings to "break in" but I hate being without a bra if I'm not in bed. When my boobs are sore during PMS, I wear a lightweight sports bra to bed just for the support and it helps not feel the pain. I'm also more uncomfortable NOT wearing a bra.

I haven't read anything beyond the OP, so maybe someone has already said it ... but try to keep in mind, bras were meant to be freeing for women. Try wearing a tightly-laced corset, like your great-grandmothers did.
