For me it is all of the memorabilia from school, vacations, etc. I have a storage system, but I'm not very diligent about using it so the stuff just piles up and up and up. It has to be my biggest ongoing organizing struggle in the whole house!

This probably seems dumb, but for me it's 6x6 paper pads.
Especially when I buy both the 6x6 pad, and a few 12x12 papers in the same line. I want to keep them together, but haven't figured out a good system for this. The 6x6 pads are too thick to fit in with how I store my 12x12 papers, so they end up in their own drawer...and then I forget to use them!

Embellishments. I accumulate too many leftovers and have trouble purging them. Right now I just have them thrown into an iris cart.

Memorabilia and school papers. I don't even try to organize they are in two giant rubber maid bins under my desk. I have 4 kids, the papers multiply daily...
Since doing a few pages lately I would say embellishments. I've tried sorting by color, I've tried throwing it all in one container, I've tried sorting by type... I don't have a ton of anything so that ends up being a ton of small different containers to look for/through to find something... and then I forget I even have twine and don't look in that bin etc.
I need an embellishment retrieving robot. I say red and round and it goes through all my stickers, buttons, die cuts, mists, twine, chipboard, veneers, tapes, scraps, stamps, inks, etc and pulls everything that fits that description out for me. Of course then it also needs to put everything I reject back when I'm done too.

The way I tackle memorabilia is to put that years items in a ziplock Baggie marked with that year. If it's a vacation then it gets it's own bag. School stuff goes in the school stuff box. You can't keep everything. I have purged from theses bags and boxes. I have two kids. I'm going to get ready to do it again with the kids school stuff. After 5th grade the items get less and less. I'm pretty organized when it comes to my paper and embellishments. Everything gets it's own container.

I have almost everything organized. Papers, stamps, ink, watercolor and media stuff, thickers, albums, photos, kits, dies and even Cameo stuff. Everything has it's own place in my room. I can't work any other way or I spend all of my time searching for that certain something.
What I do struggle with is the sticker sheets. The ones that come with certain lines that I love and want to use but they are in a big pile and I forget about them until it's too late. I guess I need to do a sticker organization soon.

Embellishments. I accumulate too many leftovers and have trouble purging them. Right now I just have them thrown into an iris cart. I agree. When they are in their little packs, they are easy to store, tucked in with a paper pack or whatever, but once I have opened the pack it is almost impossible for me to get them back in, or the bag won't reseal, or...
I have tried to sort into shoe boxes or drawers by type or theme (bling in one drawer, flowers in another, sports stuff in another) but if I lay them flat I can't find them and if I stand them up the drawer won't close or the lid won't go on the box. I now have those boxes and drawers on a shelf in the pantry unit with doors in the corner of my scraproom.
Then when I get the mess off my desk top I kind of forget what I have. And worse yet, when I DO remember I have a particular element I have a devil of a time finding it!

All of it? I kind of don't know where to start first. YES. This is me too. I did a great job of going through everything initially, pulling out stuff to purge and doing a basic sort of the stuff I wanted to keep. I did great with most of the themed supply type stuff, all of that got dedicated bins and got put away. But from there, other things got stuffed into drawers and on shelves to get it out of the way and that's as far as I got. Fall came and I was already so over it! Got busy with getting DD ready for going to kindergarten, then Halloween and Christmas so I took a break from it and here we are. I know I need to just pick a place and start but it's all so overwhelming. The worst part is right now almost nothing is where it really ought to stay permanently. Which means pulling it all out from where it is, going through it again and trying to figure out the best, most logical place for it based on what it is and how much of it there is, and then emptying THAT place out so there's somewhere for it to go.

Right now, it's Thickers. I can't seem to find a good way to store/organize them. I have them in a plastic 2-drawer unit, but I'm not liking it. They always fall over and I can't see them easily. That seems to be my problem. I need something big enough for them (they are a little unwieldy), but that allows me to see them at the same time. I have tried 3 different 'systems' and nothing is working. I like the idea of a Clip-It-Up, but really can't see spending that money for letter stickers. 6x6 paper pads are tough for me too, texasjen. I have them together in a cute little crate, but then I forget that I have them! To be truthful, they're one of the reasons I actually typed my self a list of all the types of embellishments I have. When I'm doing a page, I keep the list nearby and always check it to be sure I'm not forgetting anything. A little compulsive, I know.

I am happy with my organization of unused items, but after I use most of something and only have a bit left, I find it hard to store so that I will use it. I have a six foot/spinner Clip It up and store thousands of things on it, I can see it all, but am finding that the little 5 x7 Iris cases are pretty good for leftovers. So far. I love to organize and actually doing the pages is more my issue.

cut aparts/die cuts! Once you cut up a sheet of tags, or open the package of die cuts, putting them all together in 1 bin makes a lot of pieces to sort thru let alone find any that were from coordinating lines. But if you keep them in the separate packages, they are bulky/messy and so much to go sorting through!

Embellishments for me too. Right now I have them in 2 Artbin containers. But, it's still a pain to sort through and find what I need when I need it.

I feel like I have die cuts in a million places. The CTMH medium storage caddy works wonderfully for journaling cards, cut aparts and PL cards. There are 8 different compartments for sorting by whatever method you prefer, and the cards can stand on edge so easy to sort through. It also makes for an easy way to grab and go when not scrapping at home.
My problem is I get lazy and although everything was sorted to begin with, the cards are a bit mixed up now. Will have to take some time to sort some day...

This is a huge category, but I can't organize anything that doesn't fit a theme.

Embellishments I think. Right now I mostly have them done by category and pinned up on my clip it up, but I'm not totally happy with my system. I think I have too much stuff - maybe it'll be easier to find things when I've used some of it up.

Right now, it's kits. I hate breaking them apart, because I like to search galleries by specific kit name and I like having everything together, but then I can't remember what exactly is in each kit so I forget to use certain things! It is a no win situation.

I sort of have a system but I still find that there are things I forget to look through because not everything fits in one place. If I have time when I'm working on a project I'll go through all my embellishments and pull out anything that I think I'll use but then I end up with a big pile of stuff I have to put away at the end.

Stickers.
Which sounds stupid, but there are just so many sheets. And then there are some with just a few stickers left (I think I need to cut those up). And different categories. And sometimes they stick together. Ugh. I have a love/hate relationship with stickers.

I changed my mind, I now say stamps. Especially clear stamps. It would help if the acetate wasn't flimsy and the stamps stayed stuck where they belong.

Memorabilia and paperwork. I have a great handle of everything else, and try my hardest to not outgrow the storage solution I have set up for embellishments/paper/inks/etc...
