I noticed that Lucy at Attic24 has started a new cosy stripe blanket based on soft Cupcake colours. The yarn pack will be available in April. Just in case you are running out of projects!! You'll find a photo of the progress of the blanket so far at the end of this post on her blog. attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2016/02/blanket-planning.html

It's so pastel and sherbet colours, perfect for spring. I'm working on something else right now. I used the cosy pattern and choose all the shades of blue/blueish that Stylecraft has to make a afghan. Lucy's typical 15 colours are way to much for my preference but I still love to follow along with her colourful blog. Glad to see her health problems are getting better.

I have made two ripple blankets just using three colors and they turned out great. There was a good sale on yarn at Joanns yesterday, so I decided my next project would be to make a ripple blanket with at least a dozen colors. I bought the Simply Soft yarn because it was the only one where I had a big selection of colors. I started it yesterday and have about six colors in it so far. I love it already. If this turns out as good as I think it will, I am going to make these for my siblings for Christmas next year.
