I made a softcover book a few years ago of my blog documenting my DH's last two years of life through SharedBook. I just downloaded the whole thing and had it printed. I like it, would like to make the same book again for my three children but a more customized version using Blurb this time. My children will have this book to remember their Dad by and my grandchildren will be able to read about their grandfather. I'm going to give it to them on DH's next birthday, September 26th.
Does anyone have any hints for doing this? I'm finding it quite time consuming. I like having the ability to add more pictures to the book than what I have posted on my blog. It's almost like digital scrapping. I also like that I can remove some posts so that the book follows his life and doesn't include other blog posts about my scrapbooking and church events.
Once I've got this done, I think I'm going to delete my blog. If anyone here has done this, I'd appreciate any help with tips or hints to make it a book to remember.
*Posted on both NSBR and here.

I'm not sure how to do what you're talking about but I want to extend my condolences for your loss. It's so thoughtful (and very "on-brand" for a scrapbooker!) to make such an effort to pass along these memories to your kids. Peace through scrapbooking.

MDscrapaholic, i wanted to add (i posted on your other thread) if you do not get much traffic with either of your threads to make sure and bump them both up to the front page again in a day or two.I have a feeling that a lot of the peas that are still in the trenches of the scrappy world are taking the day off to celebrate Valentines day.
