So I'm putting together a PL spread from last week and it's just like "arrrgghh!" *pulls hair out* because nothing is coming together and "singing" to me, ya know? My pictures aren't right for my cards/embellishments and my cards aren't right for my pictures. I tried to dig deep through my (mini) stash and find something to work, but even as I found something to "work" I didn't LIKE it! Does this happen to you? How do you push past it? Cos I wanna throw the whole thing at the wall! /endrant I need a nap, obviously

Put it to the side and start a new product. Just go back to the one you're stuck on later.

Put it to the side and start a new product. That's interesting! I only have my one PL book and I am working on my most recent completed week, otherwise am all caught up! So I don't have anything else to work on... But I was listening to Scrap Gals podcast about mini albums and I maybe want to start one! That might be a good distraction for me when I want to toss my 12x12 out the window

I would put the pictures in the pockets, do the journaling, and call it a day. I don't love every page, but they're done. You can always go back later and change it up. But, I think with some distance you will have moved on and not care.

But, I think with some distance you will have moved on and not care. I agree. If your journaling is done and your photos are there, you can go back at a later date and embellish or put in some different cards. Sometimes I just have to leave something spread out on my scrap counter overnight, and in the morning I am full of ideas. If I don't have time to act on those ideas, I write on sticky notes for when I get back to it.
In the meantime, you may come across a stamp, a different card or some other way of making the pages perfect. if not, it's done.

Does this happen to you? How do you push past it? Yes. It happens all the time that I get frustrated with whatever I'm working on. I just walk away from it for awhile. Usually fresh eyes help make everything come together more smoothly. I find if I force it, I never like the end result.

Do you mean like orientation of the photos/cards? Could you cut pieces of cards to be able to turn and make sense? I usually just walk away when I feel like that. It is the worst tho!
