Hi! I have been collecting the PL cards for a bit. I want to get to using them more and am challenged at how to store them so they are easier to use.
What do you do with yours? Thanks!

I would show you mine, but I don't know how to add a photo. Can you help?

I store mine in divided PL pages, in a binder. One of each style. That way I can see at a glance which cards I have and what will work for the topic I'm scrapping.
I keep the extras in a drawer next to my scrapping table, divided by collection, and then can just pull out the ones I want to use.

I use a clear acrylic fridge bin that fits the smaller cards perfectly. I can't remember what it's actually for in the fridge?! I use those bins a lot because they are sturdy and see thru, and cheap!

I split sets with a friend, so my share of a BH set fits in one of those 4x6 clamshell-like photo holders. I also keep other cards in one of those plastic kitchen organizer that someone else mentioned. I have ones that are divided in 3 and they fit both 4x6 and 3x4 cards perfectly. I got mine at the Container Store but I also see them occasionally at TJ Maxx.

What do you do with yours? I just have them in a gallon sized Ziplock bag. I like to pour through them. But I also don't have as many as many folks do. And I'm not planning on buying anymore.

I bought a bunch of studio calico kits over their Black Friday sale. I got some index card holders with tabbed dividers. I separated the cards by color. I also have sections of seafoam core kit and other mini kits I've purchased. I work from the current months kit first but if I need a particular color, I go digging. At the beginning of the next month, I pull out any cards I don't have any intention of using and file the rest away by color with the others so I have a clean desk to start the new months kits. I was hesitant to break up kits at first, but this method is really working for me! When I get home I'll see if I can link up the index card holders and dividers. Frankly, organizing my cards is the easiest part of keeping things tidy, it's the embellishments that get out of hand! Edited to add... Here are the storage boxes and here are the index card tabs. I put 4x6s in the front of each category and 2 columns of 3x4 cards behind. I put them on top of my *new* Raskog! Three fit comfortably with a mug holding my pens and a lucite divider with my measly collection of cling stamps and ink set up in there. GOT THE PHOTOS! Yay!

Here's a blog post where I share my card storage system. Hope it's helpful! I love it because it's cheap, portable for crops/retreats, lids keep the dust out, and it's easily re-arrangeable when I use and get more cards.

I've been using the fridgebinz style containers as well, I have 3 and I've got to the point where I think I need to purge my cards. I find that them being organised is great( a mix of by colour and theme) but I find there are too many to easily put together a spread.
I realised that I like a coordinated mix of colours in each spread. So I made some 'mini kits' enough for a spread or two using a mix of 4x6 and 3x4 cards plus a few lines of coordinating enamel dots and label stickers. I've put these in some clear bags in a separate box ready to do last weeks photos.

I tend to do PL at my kitchen table or at a crop, so I wanted it portable. I have this. I use it to store just about everything PL related - mini stamps, pens, photos, cards, date stamp, etc. I used this idea to make dividers for the 3x4 cards so they don't slide around the photo box. Her video is a little long, but she gets into the dividers about 15 min. in. Anything that is too big for the 4x6 photo boxes goes in here. I keep my album in a canvas tote bag. Then, when I'm going to work on it, I have one container for each hand & the tote goes over my shoulder. One trip and I'm done. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it works for me.

I just bought this at Joann's for 9.99 - it fit 2 core kits (616 cards/kit) plus 4 mini kits (100 cards/kit) The dividers fit perfectly so two sections fit the 3x4 cards and the other section fit the large cards. I like that it locks and is covered - I see a lot of organization for these in baskets but I need to have my things contained otherwise it gets dusty and I like things contained/covered and able to be portable as well. Isn't there one of the "fridge bins" that fits the PL cards?

Photo boxes with painters tape to secure them. If I remember right I can easily fit four core kits in one box. There's a bit of space to the side, but the cards don't move if they are packed in tight.
