I am probably starting too many threads lately, it's rainy and gloomy and I'm in a curious mood I guess...
So now that there is no "Two Peas" to produce videos and make me buy their products, and there are no magazines, and even the Scrappy Jedi doesn't blog anymore (she always had the latest greatest stuff), where do you go to get enabled about the latest greatest trends and products? Everything feels so scattered these days...

I get daily emails from Archivers, scrapbook.com, and A Cherry on Top.
They show new releases. The problem is, it's so tempting to buy the pretty things I don't need!

Scrappy Jedi did do a CHA round-up sneek-peaks before the show, and I think some photos of the show too. Scrapbook Update is another source. And facebook...if you join some of the popular scrap groups, news gets around I belong to paper issues, and Nicole Jones' group.

Scrapbook and Cards today is a publication I received from a scrapbook.com order. They also have an online version.

I am probably starting too many threads lately, There is no such thing as starting too many threads. I love when there are plenty. Keep posting! As for where - Here! JourneyFan posts her blog links fairly often, and they are always interesting to read. I "hear" about trends here. I don't have any scrappy friends IRL, so this is all I got.

I don't live and die by scrapbook news so whatever I read from the message boards is fine with me. i find out about the latest releases the same way.

I just started following a few manufacturers and scrapers on Instagram, and I get emails from places I have purchased from. Besides that, I'm counting on you all to keep me informed!

Youtube subscriptions: Shimelle, Nicole Jones, Clearly Besotted, Tracy Banks, etc. Sometimes in the mood for one over the other, but can usually get mojo'ed up by watching one or two or a haul video to show new releases.

I "hear" about trends here. I don't have any scrappy friends IRL, so this is all I got. This is me too. I don't do facebook and I haven't been on instagram in years, I just like hanging out here and someone usually knows what's going on.

Here is pretty much it for me, too. But 2peas was my go to place before. Used to like SC but that's a buzzkill now. I like the visual aspect of IG. I agree it feels very scattered where to go and I rarely have the time or patience to hit a bunch of blogs or websites.

Mostly here and Instagram. Instagram is dangerous for me, though, because of all of the pretty pictures!

Two magazines: Scrapbook & Cards Today, and The Creative Scrapbooker magazine. Both have blogs which I follow, and manufacturers who advertise with them host giveaways and tutorials.
Scrapbook Update: I go there around CHA time and check out the lines/products that look interesting.
Newsletters from a couple of LSS's that advertise classes in various techniques. Haven't taken many of the classes, but do get an idea of what is out there.
Manufacturers' Blogs: I routinely check out BoBunny, Simple Stories, Taylored Expressions, Kaisercraft blogs to see what their design team have to show me.
Paper Wishes Webisodes: often HOTP products featured, but the techniques are new and they feature products by other manufacturers that are carried by Paper Wishes.
Pinterest: I follow scrappy friends, some manufacturers, design team members from some of the scrappy blogs. Might not see what is the latest and greatest product, (or I do see latest and greatest, but it is mixed in with older stuff that someone else has just discovered) but certainly see what to do with my scrappy stash!

From here and a few other blogs I follow. After 17 years I'm really not so into all the latest and greatest anymore.

I like the "picks of the week" on the Paperclipping Roundtable. They aren't always the latest/greatest items but I've learned about a lot of good stuff from them.

Thanks for this idea. I've seen references to this magazine, but didn't think about them having a blog to follow. I just subscribed to their email list.
