Saturday's Highlights from Big Brother Network
9:00 AM BBT – HGs getting out of bed and starting their busy day. 10:00 AM BBT – Up in the HoH room Frankie and Zach chatting about their plans for the week. Frankie wants Zach to play it cool so they can keep the target on Amber. Later they discuss target orders. Amber, Caleb, Jocasta, the Victoria. 11:40 AM BBT – Feeds return from picking Veto players. Christine, Hayden, and Donny were selected to join in on the competition. 12:22 PM BBT – Jocasta is crying to Amber in the Hive about Britt supposedly stealing a story of hers. She’s sobbing to Amber and then looks right in to the camera and rolls her eyes. Jocasta is possibly faking this whole event. 1:15 PM BBT – Victoria is very concerned about an itty-bitty cut on her finger. She holds it up to the camera and asks if it’s bad. Camera nods “yes.” HGs asks if Victoria is going to make it. The camera shakes “no.” 1:50 PM BBT – Some of the HGs downstairs playing fake nomination ceremonies. Lots of silliness as everyone takes turns putting people up. Hayden puts Cody up as both noms and promises it’s nothing game related, just entirely personal. Worth a watch for the entertainment. 4:20 PM BBT – Feeds return. Jocasta is in bed being attended to by Donny. She had another rough time in the competition. Hayden won the Veto. He’s immediately discussing plans with Frankie on how to get Amber backdoor’d this week. Also as a result of the competition, Jocasta now has to eat Slop. She may have taken that punishment to get an advantage in the comp. 4:40 PM BBT – Frankie confirms plan is to BD Amber. He’ll tell everyone on Sunday about the plan and see how it goes over. If Caleb blows up over the idea then Amber will stay and Caleb will be evicted instead. 4:50 PM BBT – Zach finally having his apology tour with Christine and Nicole. They’re not crazy about the way he apologizes, but it seems to have been smoothed over, at least on the surface. 4:55 PM BBT – Caleb interrupts the Detonators & is clueless as to what’s going on around him. Zach gets Caleb to fake a fight. They’re both yelling at full blast. Cody comes running upstairs to see what happened. He’s shocked and everyone laughs about it. 6:05 PM BBT – Feeds return after Have-Not food reveal. The HGs have Deep Fish Pizza this week. It’s fish and pizza crusts. HGs are stoked. They can eat sardines all week and Boboli pizza bread. Not bad really. Caleb of course has to make a spectacle so he bites the head off a fish. 6:10 PM BBT – Hayden tells Victoria in the bathroom that he’s going to use the Veto to save her. I have no idea why it’d be to his advantage to show his hand this early to such a weak player. Recruits. 7:40 PM BBT – Jocasta trying to get info from Nicole as to what Hayden is planning to do with his Veto win. Nicole pretends not to know. 7:45 PM BBT – Zach and Victoria in the Hive talking game. She’s confused by his game and tries to tell him how to be a better person. Zach seems to just be messing around with her. 8:10 PM BBT – Frankie telling Derrick his plan to talk with everyone in the house about going after Amber. He’ll talk with Caleb last to make sure he has the ammo he needs to support the BD argument. Long talk. Backup plan remains Caleb as the BD if he causes trouble with Frankie’s Amber plan. 9:10 PM BBT – Nicole thinks the house will be shocked when Hayden uses the Veto. Not if everyone keeps telling every single person in the house. Sheesh. 9:45 PM BBT – Derrick and Caleb talking. Derrick throwing out hints that Amber might be the target. Caleb starting to think the idea of BD’ing Amber is his idea. 10:15 PM BBT – Victoria telling Cody about the worst thing that ever happened in her life: her hair fell out. She won’t tell him why. She stopped going to school for months until they figured out a solution. Vic is very upset at Amber for asking if she had hair extensions. She wants to keep it a secret. Oops. 10:40 PM BBT – Caleb’s big plan now is for Amber to go up on the block but then just fake her out that she’s going to be evicted. He thinks scaring her will force her to respect and accept him. Why that’s totally sane and normal, Caleb. Frankie celebrates “Caleb’s plan” and how they’ll scare Amber. Caleb wants Frankie to tell Amber it his Caleb’s idea and only Caleb can save her. Caleb has no idea. 12:20 AM BBT – Amber talking with Hayden about the Veto. She doesn’t want him to use it. Hayden says he doesn’t know what he’s going to do with it. Amber coaching him on how he can say that he won’t use it in deference to the HoH. 12:40 AM BBT – Victoria telling stories about how she wrecks her car and hits things and is a terrible driver. She flees the scene of a wreck and lies about drivers in another one. Basically she’s a danger to society, but is anyone surprised? 1:30 AM BBT – Zach and Amber having a talk in the Hive. Amber is campaigning for herself. Zach is just playing along. Amber hopes the Veto isn’t used and wants Victoria to be evicted next. 3:30 AM BBT – Frankie and Zach talk about how well their plan is working out so far. Frankie was able to promise Jocasta a deal earlier while Zach stirred up the conflict between Caleb and Amber. They’re very pleased with how it’s going. Saturday set up Frankie’s plan to get Amber out but Cody and Derrick might still be hoping to course correct that BD to be aimed at Caleb instead. Without any real power other than their words, it’ll be a challenge for Derrick and Cody, but if they can get Caleb to flip out at Frankie then they just might get their way and we’ll get some exciting Feeds!

Wow, I can't believe Caleb is still all overly invested in Amber. He really has no clue, does he? I wonder if production is trying to help or play up his obsession with her. It would be awesome if Amber was back-doored and evicted this week, just to see what it does with Caleb's game.

It would be awesome if Amber was back-doored and evicted this week, just to see what it does with Caleb's game. I believe that is the plan. Hayden will use his veto to save Victoria, and Frankie will replace her with Amber. Caleb thinks getting nominated will just scare Amber and Jocasta will get voted out when in fact, the plan (by most everyone) was to get either Caleb (if he wouldn't agree to nominating Amber) or Amber out this week. Either way, it's looking like Caleb is not going to be a happy cowboy come Thursday!

And...IMHO, this will just make Victoria think she is a strong player. Ugh...that girl drives me crazy.

I've missed the last two programs but have read some of the re-caps. Who are the Detonators? Must have missed that.
Does anyone else wonder why the women always go along with voting other women out? Why can't they hang together at least until they get some of the guys out. Sheeezzz, that frustrates me.

Caleb is borderline delulsioinal as is Victoria. Caleb is hearing Amber saying things she isn't saying, like that she would have gone on the trip with him if he had chosen it instead of the cash, when she actually said no. Victoria not only thinks she is a good player, she also thinks she was carried away by a crow when she was 2. They are both nuts. I like that Zach is trying to create some drama, I don't think he is ADHD as has been mentioned, I think he is just bored out of his skull. I don't imagine he is someone who sits around all day even though he is unemployed. I am not a terribly physical person, but I wouldn't last 24 hours in that house without a book, music, games to play or something to do other than play pool, sit in a tiny swimming pool and talk. I would be crazier than Victoria within a day!
I hope that Amber goes home since it won't be Victoria. I would hate for Victoria to make jury over some other people actually playing the game.

Exactly!!! She has no earthly concept on how to play this game. That's what happens when production recruits people. There are hundreds of die hard fans that would kill to be on the show that really know how to play the game. Cast them, you morons!!!

By their pre show interview tapes. I think they were on CBS BB web site! It would be fun to go back and watch them now and see how they felt going in and how they are actually playing the game now.

Try as Derrick may to play the game by example, these houseguests just cant keep their mouths shut and I almost feel like Donny is the only one who keeps his real play close to his vest. He comforts others and he talks good small talk. I dont know about these large alliances making sense, except for a feeling that they are a voting block. I'm somewhat bored this season, but I'll continue watching.

I am sooo confused. So when is the veto ceremony? so we know if they are doing a backdoor? From what's posted at Big Brother Network, the veto ceremony is scheduled for mid-day Monday. The current plan is still to back door Amber unless Caleb pitches a fit. If he blows up on Frankie before the veto ceremony, he will go up instead of Amber. These are from yesterday but I had to comment on them:
I hate to break it to Victoria but even a person watching on TV can tell she has extensions. Her hair is way too thick down at the ends. Also she messes with her hair all the time but never runs her fingers through it. I guess it's not classy for Amber to ask but still . . . it's not a secret.
And the car wrecks and lying - I hope law enforcement is able to follow up on that and she has some repercussions. That's serious shite. Hit and run is not funny or cute.

Caleb has been told by Frankie and someone else, that Amber went on the date with him to not hurt his feelings. So now, he is not talking to her. He is pushing for her to be the replacement nom, so he can tell her that he will no longer save her. I will look for a transcript of his convo with Jocasta today and post it.

Remember a few seasons back with Natalie (I think) and she was D.U.N. Now, we have things getting TURNT UP. From Big Brother Network:
Get ready for a messy week on Big Brother 16 as HGs prepare to unleash their latest plan on the game thanks to the Power of Veto Ceremony later today. Things are going to get ‘turnt up.’
The winner of this week’s PoV has coordinated the day’s events and I don’t think we’re going to be surprised by any last minute changes on the targets. Here’s what you can expect to happen.
Hayden is set to use the Veto. He promised Victoria on Saturday that she would be the HG rescued over Jocasta and everyone involved, mostly the Detonators, is on board with that except for Caleb. Caleb thinks Jocasta will be coming down but no one has told him otherwise just yet. Frankie has considered telling Caleb just before the meeting, but we’ll see if that happens.
Once Victoria is off the block Frankie will name a renom and that’s going to be Amber. This plan has been in the works for quite awhile now as HGs have wanted to split Caleb and Amber and her attempts to rally girl-power to go after the guys only accelerated the situation.
Adding a bizarre spin to this situation is Caleb’s belief that he has masterminded the whole plan. Having been informed of it after everything was settled Caleb was manipulated in to believing this was all his doing, but he only sees part of the plan.
While Caleb knows Amber is going up, he thinks it’s just to scare her. Caleb wants to “put her in her place” and scare her in to running back to him. He is anxiously awaiting for Amber to hear that Caleb is the reason she’s made it this far in the game and will only last as long as he will allow it. Yeah.
I’m hoping this will play out as a blindside to both Caleb and Amber on Thursday night, but Amber is a good bit more perceptive than Caleb so there’s a better chance she’ll figure this out long before that. Even if she does it’ll be too late and she’ll go home.
On top of all this scheming, Team America is set to make another go at their mission. They’ve convinced Zach to give a new speech at the Veto meeting. Why would Zach be allowed to talk at this event? It doesn’t make much sense, but BB is bending over backwards to hand out cash to Team America.
Zach has been practicing his speech and while some are concerned that he’s planning a “vicious attack” this looks to be about as intense as being called a “Froot Loop Dingus.” And if anyone in there takes Zach seriously on this third meeting speech then I’m not sure what will make them stop listening to Zach. Team America will collect their check, Amber will go home, and Zach will dig that hole even deeper.
What do you think of this plan on Big Brother? Should the HGs be targeting Amber or is there a better option to take at today’s meeting?

I think getting rid of Amber will shake up the house for a minute, but really derrick, Cody and Frankie will still be the ones running the house and the rest of the HG are just going to get picked off one by one. Watching Zach practice his speech last night was pretty funny with delusional Caleb sitting there giving tips and feeling like he came up with the plan. Derrick was funny coaching him as well, as he is obviously trying to earn the AP money. It does seem odd to me that nobody notices that Cody, Frankie and Derrick are running the show. If Nicole, Christine (she can't really be dumb enough to think the boys Re going to keep her long term, she must realize she is on the bottom of that alliance, right?) Hayden, Jacosta, Donny, Amber and Victoria had actually realized this they could have done something, they had the numbers had they actually worked together.

I know some of the houseguests who are not Detonators must realize they could have done something as a group, but it seems everyone, but Zack is unable to make a plan or mix it up in any way. I do NOT understand the play this season. I wish it was Caleb going up, but at least Amber is less obvious than other weeks. At least, I think so. And I write that because everyone seems to know everything within minutes of a plan. Oh well.

This is what happens when no one wants to get their hands dirty and shake up the house. A small power group forms that runs the house and just picks weak people off one by one. I hate when the whole house votes together out of fear of upsetting the HoH. If Caleb can keep his poop in a group when he realizes he was played by Cody, Frankie and Derrick, the non-Detonators would have a chance to rally together to go after the power players in the house. However, he's likely to lose his cool and not realize this is about the last chance to put up a real fight against the power players. It's going to be a dull season if this week doesn't mix it up a little.
