I love Pinterest. I use it to hoard ideas.
And hoard I do. I have thousands of pins - all craft pins(except one humour board). I love that I can go there and look at my boards and get inspired.
I rarely go to the pinner's website. I'm not usually looking for information such what kind of paper or whose stamp or what size things are or whatever. I just like to look at the creations and then look at what is in my stash and try to create something similar.
When I go to the pinner's website it is usually for directions and measurements for things like fancy fold cards or mini albums. Then create them using my stash.
Do you use Pinterest? If so in what way?

I use pinterest a lot for ideas. But there are somethings that I do go to the website for information-like recipes and sewing tips. I am a beginner when it comes to embroidery and stitches, so I gather up tutorials to refer back to. But there are a lot of photos that I collect simply because I love the way they look. my boards

Pinterest is my new addiction ! I always go there for ideas for my cards and scrap pages. I have also found some great recipes. Bad part of it all is that I'm too busy pinning and not enough doing.

I pinterest. I have 136 boards + 3 private boards. Yeah, I'm a obsessed. What can I say, other than I'm a visual person. My Boards I pin lots of items that I want to look at later when I'm actually doing the research for that particular thing - recipes, school, whole food eating/nutrition, sewing tutorials, etc. For layouts or diy crafts, I may or may not go to the website depends on if it's really needed, as I'm usually lifting and not copying. But I **swoon** for pinterest.

Just like you ladies, I just pin for ideas and inspiration that I will probably never actually use! I have lots and lots of cool stuff pinned - crafty stuff, quotes, places I want to visit someday, some boards just for stuff I like: movies, books, good looking actors

Another one who pins for ideas/inspiration. Mostly craft ideas but some recipes. I don't usually follow the pin to the original website - it's usually more the overall impression of a card/LO I want to remember, or maybe how to feature a certain product. I pin way more ideas than I can use but I'd rather have digital vs actual clutter.

I use Pinterest for inspiration. Sometimes it's a straight scrap lift, sometimes it just helps me get ideas flowing. I often go to the pinners site to see if there are directions, or perhaps the name of a particular stamp set, etc.

I use Pinterest more as like a 'someday' kind of thing. Like a true wish list. Mostly, I'll search, as needed, for 'in the moment' ideas. For example, I had a couple of graduation cards to make this year, so I searched for ideas on Pinterest, but didn't pin the ones I 'lifted,' as graduation cards are not a constant.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. I love that it's visual and the content is constantly changing up so there is always something fun to look at. I hate that it no longer works in any form on my 1st gen iPad so the only way I can access the site is when I'm on a real computer which almost never happens. The old app I had installed originally worked great, then there was an update that they didn't make clear wouldn't work on my hardware until after I tried to install it. Now I can't download the old versioon that did work, the new one isn't compatible and even using the site itself (since they changed that, too) just causes my iPad to crash repeatedly so I almost never go on there anymore. It's just frustrating. I used to love it and want to love it again, but it's hard when it doesn't ever work the way I want to use it. I have lots of stuff pinned and have found tons of great recipes and ideas that I've actually tried. I do follow the links back to the sites before I repin. I don't want to just pin a bunch of eye candy fluff that doesn't actually go to anything. When I want to try something later (which is usually the case) it drives me nuts when it's just a picture with no recipe, instructions, directions or link to where I can find that information.

Love pinterest too! But sometimes it eats all my time that I end up without any finished project LOL This is totally me. I have multiple boards but my crafty boards are for scrapbooking, card making, general crafts, Project Life, December Daily/Journal Your Christmas, and free printables. Some of my other favorites are for party ideas and food - I have a lot of recipe pins. LOL
