Well, I have NO idea what happened this week, except that maybe Yoga is starting to kick in. I was up 1.2 lbs. It's frustrating. I ate what I wanted yesterday, and am starting again today. I was unable to go to Yoga today due to being sick. I have 3 classes planned for this week.
Onward, and downward!

katrina YES- it's possible! If you're not familiar with lifting, you might want to get a trainer for awhile to get a few routines and your form down. I have literally been working my ass off. Squats and lunges have become my friends- I can't believe I just said that...

So you know I was bellyaching about going to the gym. I was really tired today and I did NOT want to go. One thing about me and it isn't an endearing quality but I have to be able to do stuff on my own terms. At 3 pm I went. I didn't have a personal best, but I had a personal awesome. I felt like being there and I did the treadmill because I love it (and I am trying to make this a habit) and it went great. My heart rate was really good for me for a change. I was able to challenge myself to do the machine faster and my normal incline (3) and not get my heart rate too high. I was mighty pleased with that.
Then I went and did leg weights. I talked to BFF last night and she told me which machines her trainer had her focus on and I did those. It didn't take very long, it wasn't like tooth pulling with no anesthesia or anything. I didn't hate it completely. I will do legs again in a couple of days. For today i am tired and I am glad I did it.

I worked out 4 days last week (30 min cardio and weight lifting). Tracked all my meals on my app and I was up .6. I cannot tell you how upset I was. I'm like wtf? am I doing this for? I expected to be down 2 lbs or so. No period or anything like that interfering so I don't know what it's all about. I'm up. I'm down. At this rate, it will take me forever!!! I know it's not a race but a lifelong change but geez! Gimme a break!

Hey ladies. No complaints here - just plugging along. Going to dinner with a friend tonight and I'm getting FRIES! I don't eat many potatoes these days, so that's a treat for me. They better live up to my expectations... I had to decide between a bun on my burger (turkey/bacon/avocado, yummm) and fries, and fries just sound so good. Even "budgeted" for ketchup, which sounds ridiculous, but the carbs in ketchup really add up with how much sugar is in it. If it isn't as good as I'm expecting, Imma ditch it and get Whataburger on the way home On a more productive topic, I've really found that I HAVE to get my exercise & a few other daily activities in before I start working (I work from home, but even when I'm traveling to). I'm a total lump in the evenings. This is me, too. In the mornings I feel ambitious and have plans of doing more of a workout again in the evening, but it never happens. I need to just stop planning on it and if I happen to get more done, that is a great bonus.
