Thanks ladies...I'm making a list of new needs! conchita Did you use cotton pads to remove your makeup with the Micellar water? Do you need to rinse afterwards? I've been loving my Old Navy High-Rise Go-Dry Compression crops for working out. They are so comfy, hold everything in place and don't ride up or down. Yes, I end up using two large cotton pads to remove my makeup. And rinsing is unnecessary. Mind you, I wear a tinted mineral sunscreen, a light layer of foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick and black eyeliner & mascara. I use both sides of the cotton pads as well. HTH!

I am in love with this Loreal product I tried on a whim! I have thick hair that takes forever to dry, and this actually really did cut my drying time. Hallelujah! And bonus- it's cheap! It's called Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Quick Dry Primer Spray by Loreal and I found it at Wally World.

Well... you are exactly 2.3 hours late with this recommendation! LOL! I was getting the nail polish at Ulta and came across this Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray at the cash register. I think it was $12. It smelled lovely so I bought it. But $12 vs. $5?! It can go back! I also have thick hair that takes forever to dry so that is exactly what I was looking for.

Smells really good, and absolutely cut the dry time on my long quite thick hair. J

I just tried two new makeup items last night and I was really happy with both of them. Rimmel Gel Eyeliner in 001 Black exceeded my expectations. I kind of got it on a whim a couple of months ago, but just got around to trying it. I found a video that shows putting on eyeliner from underneath the lashes rather than on top, and this worked amazingly well for me. It was easy to draw a fine line and I was able to keep the line neat. Before, when I tried lining on the top of the lashes, it could easily become a hot mess. This stuff didn't smudge at all.
I also tried Maybelline's Rock Nudes palette and I liked the two colors I used.

I like the Always Infinity pads too, and prefer the ones without wings. Target usually has them. I would prefer not to use pads at all, but tampons just don't work for me any more (and the Diva Cup was just never an option when I have to take care of things in a shared school bathroom). My favorite recent find is Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo. It's $5 and works better than the much more expensive one I was buying from the salon. I also like the Naked Volumizing Shampoo, which truly does give my fine hair more volume, and the blowout creme for days I use the blow dryer. A great, inexpensive product line IMO. Plus-size ladies, maybe you all knew this already, but Cacique has changed the cut of their briefs to hit a little below the waist line. If you like more coverage, like me, but don't want the granny panties that come up over your belly button, these are great. They have a wider waist band that I like, too. I had been wearing their hipster style panties for years, but it seems like the last few batches I bought were skimpier, and I didn't like them as well. These briefs are much better. They don't say they're mid-rise or anything, but they really are. I just bought five new pair less than a week ago and agree with you 100% about the nice wider waist band. For me though, they do come up to and over my belly button a little but I do not mind at all..

I am trying out a new line of skin care - Mega-Mushroom by Origins. Here's a link. So far, I like it but it hasn't been any miracle cure. I have only been using it consistently for a week so I may yet be surprised. It does have a weird mushroomy smell straight out of the jar, but that dissipates very quickly. The line is supposed to be good for red and sensitive skin which are my two issues. I'm always looking for the perfect solution. I also have sensitive, red skin that is also dry and recently tried out a new skin care line. I've been looking for the last few years for a good line and everything I've tried either doesn't work or burns my skin. I refuse to spend tons of money (like $100.00 for a face cream) but I'll spend more than a drugstore line because I want something that really works. Recently I took the plunge and tried the line my mother has used for years-Dr. Hauschka. I went to their website and keyed in what my skin is like and the website recommended two products-Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk that comes in a 4.9 oz. (this is the cleanser) and a moisturizer that is called Rose Day Cream. I love these products! My skin has really improved and my redness is completely gone. Around Christmas (when I bought mine) you can get what you want in the entire line for 25% off. The best part is there is one company that has this price still now-25% off online. I've ordered from them and they were just fine as far as customer service. The company is www.pharmaca.comDebbie in MD.

Thank you birukitty! I am not loving the Mega-Mushroom and have not noticed any decrease in redness -- maybe even an increase? So I may try your recommendation. The search continues.

I really like the Loreal blow dry spray too. It's almost time for me to get more.

I really like that L'Oreal primer spray too! I think I got it in one of my Target beauty boxes.
I recently got the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight in my Sephora Play! box. It gives a nice subtle, sheer glow without the look of the Kardashian contour/highlight made up clown face.

I'm really loving goat milk soap. This alone has really made a difference in my skin, even my face. I used to have that combo skin-dry patches on the sides and greasy on the t-zone. No longer. The skin on the rest of my body has never felt better. I have tried different online vendors and the best one thus far is called Sparrow soaps. They don't have a wide range of scents, but these are the best soaps I've found thus far.

I bought a new protein bar they were sampling at wegmans this week. It's called Perfect Bar and usually I say no thanks to samples but holy moly are these good. I bought the peanut butter flavor and it's like eating peanut butter cookie dough without all the sugar. So yum.
So that is my new product recommendation.

Thank you birukitty ! I am not loving the Mega-Mushroom and have not noticed any decrease in redness -- maybe even an increase? So I may try your recommendation. The search continues. I forgot to tell you-Dr. Hauschka are made with botanical and natural ingredients and smell amazing! That's another reason I love them. I can't tolerate artificial smells because they give me migraines, but if it's a natural smell made with ingredients from nature I'm fine. My mother's been using the line for 15-20 years and her skin is amazing. I don't know why I waited so long. The price was a factor I guess. But with that 25% off it really helps. Debbie in MD.

I love these threads.
I picked up the loreal blow dry spray for my dd. She hasn't had a chance to use it yet. I also got their heat protectant blowout spray. I'll try it tomorrow. I also got the micellar water make up remover. All 3 at Wal-Mart. My next mall trip I want to get the Bare Minerals redness cream.
I also bought Olive Garden's salad dressing. My kids love that place. So we liked this too.
