I wasn't expecting it to start today. I thought it was supposed to start tomorrow. I'm happy they don't sell out!

I have already filled my cart and going back for more. I went to designers, then to Pebbles and got the featured design. It's a cute fan that says "You are so cool". How cute will that be on a card. I also bought some Simple Stories designs to go with some SS papers I have. How about you? Did you find something really cute?

Thanks for the heads up!!
Is there an easy way to narrow a search? I love Kolette Hall's designs but am unwilling to scroll through 229 pages.

I don't know an easier way. I scroll till I'm bored, then put it down and go back later.

scrapbookwriter...ok now I've got it: Go to Kolette Hall through the artist's link on the top bar. Then at the top (middle) search for something like love, or heart, or whatever. I did that and did a search for DOG and only two items for Kolette Hall dog word designs.

I have been going back and forth between buying the Cameo or the Portrait. Finally made a decision last night and chose the Portrait. The price was great and shipping is free.
Time to sign up for a tutorial! Any recommendations for beginner classes? Thanks!

The sale is still on! I spent hours scrolling through designs yesterday. Spent $20 of the $90 I had left on my gc. Hopefully I'll get some more today.

Time to sign up for a tutorial! Any recommendations for beginner classes? I got a Silhouette for Christmas, so we'd be using the same software. I was scared to death because technology and I am apparently a dinosaur in my 30s. So once I got it unpacked, which I did very slowly and carefully, I just walked through the user's manual that comes with it to play around to get a little comfortable. Then when I wanted to do something specific and I couldn't figure it out, I googled it. It's really not that scary or complicated! I haven't taken an official class yet but I am confident in my abilities. So, what i'm saying is, unless you really want to, you don't need to pay for a class, as there are a lot of free resources online! There is also a free class at scrapbook.com here: www.scrapbook.com/classes/?m=start&id=75 I haven't taken it yet, but it may be interesting to you. Also, lots of people on these boards are Silhouette Studio ninjas, so ask away! Good luck and have fun with your new toy!
