I learned a new word: tranche: meaning a portion of something I learned it because I have been reading the most recent 'tranche' of newly declassified and translated papers from the Bin Laden raid. Which is really very interesting if you are so inclined: Want to read what Bin Laden thought? Click Here. LOLHow about y'all? What have you learned recently?

I'm not sure I've learned anything of interest today, but I see your new pea title is :
Profilic Pea
I think I have the dumb pretty hard, but I have no idea what that word means. I'm actually really hoping it's a spelling error and meant to be Prolific Pea.

Not of value but I've learned people really dislike change. Our work schedule is going from M-F 7 am to 3:30 pm to M-T 7 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 7-11. You'd think they all had lost their jobs.

I just started a new career in January, so I am learning something new every single day, but it's not very shareable. It's fun and interesting though.

But since I am a total goof ball and the worst speller in the entire world (no spelling bee champion here) I figured it was unintentionally appropriate-doesn't shut up but can't spell what she is saying.

That I should not try to troubleshoot my computer when Microsoft Office crashes. I lost all my Silhouette files, word documents, etc. Hopefully they can restore my computer this afternoon.

Yes, in the main people are creatures of habit but they will possibly have a change of heart once they get use to their half day Friday. I worked for a company that had similar hours, everyone got Friday afternoon off. When I changed jobs that was the main thing I missed!

I learned that if you go to DMV early enough, you can be in and out in 15 minutes. They opened at 8 and I arrived at 8:30. And that the DMV workers can be very helpful and kind.

Well yesterday I learned that without leap year it would be July 15 2017 or something like that I'm feeling off in wishing my friend a happy birthday today, feeling I'm doing it belatedly because a year for a March 1rst birthday was yesterday. And her solar return was yesterday too. So I guess today I learned that everyone's solar return will be off by 1 degree for this whole rest of the year and then some. Why it's not off by more like my friend's sun,I have no idea because we have had more than one extra day of the year since her birth in 78. Maybe the 3 years we don't have it somehow balances it back out with the sun.

I learned that the toaster I've had for 2 years has 2 slide out crumb trays in the bottom of it. And no one else in the family realized it either. Here I've been turning it upside down and banging on it, when I could have been first sliding out the trays, THEN turning it upside down and banging on it.

Not sure yet today. It's only half over here. Yesterday I learned that I am more of a grouch when DH's work schedule keeps him at work 2 hours later than it used to. His new schedule just started yesterday.

I learned about how reflections from a mirror are different than the real object. I mean, I knew they were, but I couldn't figure out how it worked. If you face the mirror and raise your left hand, the image raises a hand on the left. If you jump up and down, the image jumps up and down. But if you point toward the mirror, the image points toward you. It's a z-axis symmetry thing.

I learned that I've been blaming the wrong dog for puking in dd's bedroom. After having to clean puke out of the same spot of carpeting in dd's room, I put a gate across the back where the bedrooms are so the dogs couldn't get back to carpet. The offender puked on the living room floor this morning...and it wasn't the one I'd been blaming.

I learned that a huge fall out that happened during a site visit at work last year, when I was basically accused of not doing my job, happened because they have the wrong job listed for me in the computer. It is a similar job but apparently my actual job is not one of the drop down menu choices so someone listed me in the related job.
Now it all makes sense when I was explaining what I do and they were asking why I don't do this and that. They were as shocked as I was when we both realized this in preparation for the site visit this year.
Although not at all these job titles, it would be like confusing a physician assistant for a medical assistant, or a nurse practitioner for a licensed practical nurse.

Profilic is an actual word and means profile worthy. Like in "Your puppy is so cute! He's profilic!"

1. That anyone can vote in the MI primary without being either a registered dem or repub. But the vite becomes public record. 2. That in Altoona, PA there is a MAJOR catholic priest a candle cracking wide open today. Looks like the Altoona police have been or are going to be very busy (and won't have time for any Pea drama for a long time). ncronline.org/news/accountability/report-priests-abused-hundreds-kids-altoona-johnstown-dioceseThis is heartbreaking and gross and I cannot wrap my head around how this was allowed to continue for so long. All those victims and the horribleness that was allowed to continue.
