1. That anyone can vote in the MI primary without being either a registered dem or repub. But the vite becomes public record. 2. That in Altoona, PA there is a MAJOR catholic priest a candle cracking wide open today. Looks like the Altoona police have been or are going to be very busy (and won't have time for any Pea drama for a long time). ncronline.org/news/accountability/report-priests-abused-hundreds-kids-altoona-johnstown-dioceseThis is heartbreaking and gross and I cannot wrap my head around how this was allowed to continue for so long. All those victims and the horribleness that was allowed to continue. If you haven't seen Spotlight, you should. This is a worldwide problem. Today I learned how to restore my new dud computer back to its original factory settings so I can return it for a replacement.

I don't think it's still playing near us though. Waiting to catch it on demand.

I'm not sure I've learned anything of interest today, but I see your new pea title is : Profilic Pea I think I have the dumb pretty hard, but I have no idea what that word means. I'm actually really hoping it's a spelling error and meant to be Prolific Pea. Oh yes, I noticed this the other day. admin have you been a butterfingers on the keyboard? OMG, totally a typo, why didn't anyone tell me sooner?! I'm so embarrassed!! Sorry anxiousmom freecharlie all fixed now Profilic is an actual word and means profile worthy. Like in "Your puppy is so cute! He's profilic!" Naturally that's exactly what I meant. Yeah. Not an error. Nope, not even a little one.

I learned that my reflexes while driving are superb. I swerved to nearly miss hitting a beautiful black lab and managed to stay on the road.

Not of value but I've learned people really dislike change. Our work schedule is going from M-F 7 am to 3:30 pm to M-T 7 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 7-11. You'd think they all had lost their jobs. Yes, in the main people are creatures of habit but they will possibly have a change of heart once they get use to their half day Friday. I worked for a company that had similar hours, everyone got Friday afternoon off. When I changed jobs that was the main thing I missed! I'm not looking forward to the traffic due to leaving later but am so looking forward to my Friday afternoons off!!

I learned that a friend from years ago passed away. Very nice person and he lived a good life. His family will miss him.
I'm a little sad.

Here on this message board, I have learned my color and height are ugly and creepy. hahahaa I'm just being silly....it is fun to learn how other peas think.
In "real" life, I have learned that I have finally grown up and got over not wanting to tell people what I want. My birthday is Friday so my dear in-laws asked me what I would like for a gift and if I rather have a home cooked meal or go out. My gift will be perfect and so will the meal....I am even making a good portion of it.

I learned that when you think you lost your credit card and you look on the top of your messy dresser and your wallet five different times and you start to panic and you finally find it on the top of the messy dresser, that's it's time to clean off all the papers, earrings, assorted jewelry on the messy dresser. I think I'll do it tomorrow.

If I listed all I learned here in a day, I'd be here all day, lol. This place is a goldmine!
IRL, today I learned that the actor who played Kirsten Dunst's cheerleader boyfriend in Bring It On died like, 6 years ago. He wasn't that famous, but he was young, so I'm surprised me or my People-magazine-reading sisters didn't know.
I was happy to learn that they make a long charger cord for my Ipad.

I learned that malt vinegar on french fries is delicious. I finally decided to give it a try at the Irish pub where I ate lunch. (Fish and chips) Usually I see it on the table but pass it up.

I'm not looking forward to the traffic due to leaving later but am so looking forward to my Friday afternoons off!! Twice a week I have a commitment that starts at 5, so I would be upset with the change. And yes, traffic at 4:30 is way worse than at 3:30. Yesterday I learned that not everyone observes the change of seasons at the same time (meteorological vs astronomical).

I've learned that the cheesy/smutty shifter romances I've been reading lately are often free with KindleUnlimited!
It's like the universe *WANTS* me to read this shit.

I learned that some people don't realize it's rude to ask someone who they voted for. I was surprised. I was in the grocery store and the guy bagging my groceries saw my "I Voted" sticker and said 'who did you vote for?' I said "Pedro, of course" He didn't get it. Dork.

I've learned there can be awful side effects from cortisone injections (although they don't tell you). Severe headache for 3 days, flushed face, high BP, heart palpitations and shortness of breath. I thought I was having a stroke of a heart attack. Frightening.

My daughter has a higher pain tolerance than I thought. Doctor said it was bad. Got the antibiotics and she should be fine soon. She's always been a bit on the dramatic side. Don't believe people with Autism are robotic!

That apparently I am very close to the end of my rope with my unemployed not so darling husband.
But on a better note I learned that my sweet fur girl is finally starting to heal from her mystery back injury and that makes me very happy.

ANd there may also be issues with family life -- such as day care schedules, etc that will be affected. So their aversion to "change" may be due to negative consequences of that change.

Today I learned that a close family member who has been struggling with alcoholism has been sober for 5 days.
And damn I'm proud of him.

I learned that when in doubt, one should absolutely go to a visitation or funeral. So so many people came out for my daughter's visitation last night that I had not seen in so long-some since 1988! It was amazing and felt so good to be supported. From ow on I will be there even if I didn't know the person well.
