Where is the best place to sell supplies you no longer love - I appreciate the For Sale board here, but it doesn't seem to be that active. Thanks,

We were just talking about this in one of the other threads and how we all have these warehouses boxes and we don't want 100% of what's in them! Someone floated the idea of a trade. I like that! Maybe we can see if we can work something out that's not a sale, just rearranging supplies between us so everyone gets what they want

Some friends of mine organize a huge stamp/scrap/craft supplies rummage sale that they do twice a year. I haul all of my stuff there (5 hours one way!) and sell my stuff there. After the sale is over, I go through what didn't sell and pull out anything I really don't want to drag home and donate it to their fall fundraiser garage sale table. My friends take a small percentage of the sales to use for their annual charity fundraiser to help cover the cost for the things that aren't donated.
I think that there are a lot of people who have closets or rooms full of nice stuff they just don't love anymore and sales like this would be a great answer if there is/was someone who could organize it and promote it.

I sell on a Craigs list. My FB has a local garage sale page. I haven't looked into that yet. I'm thinking I need to make a dummy account. I don't think I need to have all my friends and family knowing what I'm trying to sell.

A local papercrafting store near me does garage sales once a year....but I also donate to a local school.

There are tons of for sale groups on Facebook. Many of them are closed groups so you can't find them by searching; you need to be added by someone in the group. Unfortunately, they can be tempting and addicting. I usually end up buying more than I sell. lol.

I have a fairly large box on new items that I'm going to list on craigslist. I don't want to deal with shipping. I've had decent success with CL in the past.
