I have no work scheduled today. Just a bit of laundry. And the flu seems to have crawled back under a rock where it belongs. Dh is in town for coffee/ newsgathering so I have the house to myself. Hmmm... What will I do???
Last week, I registered for Calvinball over at the Get it Scrapped site to get me going again this month. I need to create a card for my granddaughter's 10th birthday. And I have a ton of photos to play with...
Anybody have time to play with me? |

I did some prep work for dgd's card. Then I created two double pagers. Realized I can post only 2 of the pages to Calvinball, though. The other LO features our dd's son, and since they are in the process of "foster to adopt", I can't post any photos of him until the court awards him to them permanently.
Even without the points, it was a great to step back into crafting this morning.
But dh is home now, and I still have that annoying laundry to do, so not much more creativity today. (Except I NEED to finish that bd card and wrap the gift to put into the post office tomorrow.)

I craft just about every day. I might have hit a small wall because I'm waiting for an essential item that I ordered from China. it's taking forever to get here and I can't continue without it.

I am scrapping today while listening to an audio book. I am down to the last few pictures from my last photo order. No I am not caught up, my 2013, 2014 and 2015 pages still fit in one album (I usually fill 2 albums per year).
Off to try to use those last photos...

Hey grammadee, I think I just posted a comment on your card over at CalvinBall. Super cute. I work so I can't scrap during the day, but I comment on the layouts while I am here. I have been getting up at 2AM to work on my pages. I have 25 pages so far. YAY, I hope I can keep by productivity level up. |

I am working in fits and spurts on some journaling spots for a swap. I really need to be more productive but that cold that's been going around is trying to take hold of me and has left me with very little inspiration for anything not pre-planned.

Does cleaning my craft room count? I took my Cameo and all the crap,with it to daughter's to cut some vinyl for her two weeks ago and *just* got around to putting stuff away. I also re-organized my ink pads. No true crafting but my desk is clean!
A friend and I are going to the My Favorite Things store on Saturday for a card class. So exciting!

I haven't been feeling it lately but I see what I'm hoping is the perfect scrapping storm approaching this weekend. We're expecting rain, have no plans, and I have easy meals planned. I'd love to get a few layouts done starting tomorrow afternoon.

Janet It does if shopping does, lol. I just bought a ton of AC cardstock when I read on someone's blog that it works well w/the Cameo. God, I hope they're right, lol. My pal forgot our date today (seriously, honey? I know your meds make your forgetful, but that's why we have things like calendars, datebooks & smartphones. Come on, now.), so I'll be moseying down to my space in a little bit. Somehow I volunteered to make the cards for the senior fencers & coaches for the banquet on Sunday, so I'd better gets ta goin', as my sister would say.  Happy Scrappin' everybody! |

I've had a couple of busy weeks so I'm hoping to catch up on my PL. I completed week 8 last night so I've only got two weeks to do which is better than I expected.
I'm also really hoping I can pull together some supplies to make a kit for the March bonus challenge.

Well, my weekend is finally here and I'm going to get back to those damn sticky albums! LOL. I completed one album last weekend and want to do the same this weekend. Not traditional scrapping just getting them off those sticky pages, on to cardstock and into proper page protectors. Oh, and scanning the good ones as I go. Working on 1997 this weekend so it's a fun walk down memory lane. Damn, my kids were cute!! LOL

I need to make a few cards, and my goal is to get my 2013 PL album completed. Realistically though, I probably will only make it through the summer. And that's if I really focus. I'm at the beginning of April right now. HA!

Finally made it to the weekend! Just finished my gardening and other chores so I'll be working on a 'Craft' Story kit layout this afternoon, then need to work on some Easter cards. My order from PTI has arrived and I'm going to break out the new paper doll stamps & dies for something for my niece so am looking forward to that.
