Here is a picture of the temperature blanket I'm working on.

I love the blanket! How do you decide what color to use, and do you just do a row per day? Is there a specific temperature for each color you use? I just had a stash of Vanna's Choice yarn so that's how I decided what colors to go with. I did purple for temperatures under 30, 30-39 is blue, 40-49 is green, 50-59 is yellow, 60-69 is orange (we had one weird 60 degree day here in Michigan this month), and 70+ is going to be red. I did a simple single crochet stitch. I am doing one row a day.

Easter cards! I am so excited to finally be able to make some cards. I had shoulder surgery last year and didn't get any cards made.

I'm still working on my ripple blanket, I've done 65 rows of a 100. Good lord that's huge, sorry about that.

Very nice ladies . I'm still enjoying furniture makeovers, which I guess is crafty since I'm using a lot of paint and some fabric. Below is the "before" and current progress on my 1950s sewing cabinet. I've got the chair/bench thing pretty much done, now I'm just working on the cabinet itself. The old Pfaff sewing machine that came with it was beyond repair, so I have to get a new table top for the cabinet (there was a big hole where the machine dropped down in the original), and plan on using it as a desk for my laptop when I'm finished.

I have already made three different patterns for our four girls all using the same yarn. And here is my fourth one.

Softball season is in full swing at our house so I think I will be making gift bags for my daughters team. Not sure how crafty I'll get with it yet...but pinterest has been inspiring me.
I love all of your projects! I may have to start one of those temperature blankets!

I'm starting a king size quilt for my son's 21st birthday in August. He's obsessed with wolves, so i'm in the early stages of planning. Unfortunately, living in Australia, wolf themed fabric is very hard to come by, so it's a lot harder than i anticipated.

Let's see if this works...
Hmmm.... looks like not. I don't want to make FB photo public and I forget my Photobucket info.
Thanks to the crochet thread a few days ago, I got out a hook and a bunch of leftover yarn. Looked at a bunch of things online and found something I wanted to try. Found directions in Basque and managed to figure them out anyway. I really would like to add a photo. Any ideas, or it'll have to wait until I look up Photobucket?

Is the chair part of the actual cabinet? It looks like it is, and if so, I love it! I have never seen one like this before. Now I want one! Where did you get this unusual piece?

Ok, let's try this again. Photo is not edited, so it's a bit dark.... ETA - edges are a little curled up here, but do lie flat.

I have big plans but haven't actually done anything yet. I really want to do a spring cross-stitch...I bought a pattern and some fabric online, and Ive also been pinning patterns at Pinterest. Lots of birds, bunnies and flowers. I can't decide what I want to do! And I've bought stamps and a bunny die to make Easter cards. I'm not sure I've ever made Easter cards, in almost 20 years of paper crafting! So that will be fun, too. Now I just need some motivation.....

I've been working on knee high socks like the one above. When the second one is done, I'll add some flowers. I have an order for two more pairs.

I am making a flannel rag quilt for a new baby that is coming soon.
I REALLY want to learn how to quilt, maybe I can do that when I grow up!

What kind of yarn is this? It looks like it would be very soft. It's Stylecraft Special DK, it's ok softness wise but I'm not really loving it. I've had horrible squeaking issues!

Loving all the knitting\crocheting and the furniture--and that zentangle artwork is AMAZING!!! I have signed up for Calvinball over at Debbie Hodge's Get it Scrapped. So far, have 4 pages completed and a bd card started.

I have been trying to resist this on all the posts about Attic24 and Wool Warehouse. I have been trying to use up my stash and not start anything new. But your blanket just looks so cozy.

I've been finishing up knitting projects. I've finished a baby hoodie, a hat, and mittens. No photos. The hat will have to be un-knitted -- it is SO wide, I could fit it over a large watermelon. No melon needs a wool hat!
