Did anyone go? I forgot about it and may try to get there tomorrow. Wondering if it's worth it.

I asked the same thing on the other Oct. Afternoon thread. I didn't make it over there today and don't think I can get over there tomorrow either. I didn't make it to the Paper Made closing sale either so I was hoping to see what they still had left from that plus some of their newer stuff.

Yes, I went with a friend last night (the first day) about 1/2 hour before close. There were people there but not so many it was hard to look at stuff.
I think there was more than last year but not as much as the year before that. I did not see any packages of paper or 8x8 or 6x6 packs either. They only had the 12x12 single sheets but there was a HUGE selection of them. There was a TON of scrapbooking paper in their scrapping room (I think the paper was $.10 each but you had to buy a certain quantity like 20 so $2). I didn’t actually buy any paper believe it or not.
And they also had other thicker 8.5x11 papers mix & match as well. These are papers they intended for small chipboard albums.
Lots of paper embellishments.. the OA Miscelanny was $3 each and buy 3 get 1 free the brads collections were 2 for $4 the tin pins were 3 for $5 can’t remember washi prices other stuff I didn’t pay attention to There were also different types of stickers, buttons, and lots of other little stuff… my friend I was with found stuff I totally missed and vice versa. My friend also saw Santa Sacks boxes that I missed and I think she said they were $19.
Lots of clear stamps from OA ($5), rubber stamps from OA including backgrounds ($4), a small selection of dies and stamps and embellishments, albums, and inks and stencils that were in the Paper Made store from other manufacturers but it looks like a lot of it was picked over – in most cases the prices were really nicely reduced. I got a set of dies that Lawn Fawn sells for $27 for only $6. All in all, there was really NOT much there left from the Paper Made store.
Apparently they already “sold out” of the free gift with $60 purchase which was 3 background stamps (and this was just the first day of being open). I already had one or two of them when they were describing them to us so I wasn’t upset about that. Plus I did not get to $60 anyway.
They also were not doing the thing where they gave you a coupon to come back the last day to get an extra savings like they have done in past years. Maybe they had too many problems with people trying to scam them by making copies or something (I know they required the receipt to be attached – I remember some ladies getting VERY VERY upset about it a year or two ago and having a fit in front of everyone).

I really wanted to go but just don't have the time as its a bit far. Man, I'll always regret not going if this ends up being the last of them! I have a good stash but really don't want to touch it and want to buy more to use! ? Thanks for sharing the details bluesh4rk!

Thanks for the update. I don't know if I'll make it over there tomorrow or not. It's a 45 minute drive for me one way with no traffic, and if it's snowing during rush hour that would make the drive back home not fun. I don't *need* anything but I always find stuff there I like.

I went this morning. The pricing was lower than last year. I was disappointed they only had single sheets of paper. Past years they have had collections as well as 25 packs of some of the older paper for something like $3. I bought a few that had easily used B sides, like a gingham print or polka dot. Other than having some Saturday Morning and Treasure Map paper, it seemed like the same old stuff as last year. bluesh4rk It's weird they said they ran out of of the free stamps with $60 purchase. I got them this morning! ETA - They didn't have any 8x8 paper pads, at least not today. I was bummed about that. I love them.
