What do you do with stamps that you just don't love anymore? I'm looking for guilt-free purge ideas. (Is it still a purge if it is just a couple of stamps?)

I sell mine if I can get any $ out of them, or donate them to either a school (if they are appropriate) or to another scrapper who may not have many.

Because of the cost of stamps, the cyclical nature of trends, and the ease of storing them, I just plan to keep mine.
I only have a few wood mounted ones...mostly unmounted, so I don't have a lot of bulk. The older ones are in binders on a shelf. A while ago, I had toyed with getting rid of my alpha stamps (because I wasn't using them) but now look at the stamped-alpha trend reemerging!

I'm doing the Konmari purge with my scrapping supplies and I found stamps one of the harder categories to deal with probably because of the investment. In that process I also realized that my 15 some odd wood mounted stamps weren't necessarily a good choice for me as they sit in a container on my shelf with a lid and I often forget about them. So I want to figure out a way to display them so they get used more often. Having said that, I'm still purging about 10 stamp sets, cling and wood, by selling them in a garage sale at the next crop I attend. The ones I don't sell will likely be donated to a friend, a school or seniors centre.

I add them to my donate box. I don't keep anything that I don't love.

I'm getting ready to go through my SU sets again. They'll be donated to the humane society's rummage sale. I just don't have the patience to sell any of my crafting surplus myself.

Sell them at my friend's twice annual stamp and scrap rummage sale. Anything I really don't want to bring back home gets donated to the garage sale table at her annual charity crop in the fall and it qualifies as a donation on my taxes.

I gave TONS of Stampin Up and CTMH sets to my SIL who runs a daycare. She was so thrilled to get them!

I don't understand the question. Stamps you don't love anymore? What does that mean? haha! I have such a hard time getting rid of any of my stamps!

Give them away. Can't be bothered trying to sell them.

Keep them in a box in the closet. Because as soon as I get rid of a stamp I just KNOW I'm gonna want to use it.

This can be time consuming, but if you have a lot of stamp sets, it may be worthwhile to check out eBay and see if you have any valuable ones. I know I've seen some sets go for over $100!! If so, try listing them. Also, I second the idea of selling them at a garage sale. Or you can advertise a craft garage sale. I did this a year ago the weekend before Christmas and made an extra $500.
Good luck!

I have a basket of giveaways that I pass among my Stampin friends...when they come over and eventually I donate whatever remains to the local thrift.

A few weeks ago, I pulled out several stamp sets that I plan to sell on Etsy or Ebay. Stampin' Up! sets typically sell well. Before they go, I'm giving them one last use by making a few cards with each set. That makes me feel less guilty and gets a few more cards in my stash. I'm doing a video series of this. Here's the playlist with the first two videos. More to come... Use It, Move It Card Series

I donate them. Either I take them to a crop and offer them to my scrapping buddies or take them to Value Village.

I put them in the break room at work. They are claimed almost immediately. People are always excited when I bring in craft supplies, whether they want them for their own use, their kids, or for organizations with which they're involved.

I have done several things: *Donate to Goodwill *Sell on eBay/scrapbook boards *RAK to friends Depends on the set and how much time I have. Listing for sale can be so time consuming, and sometimes I would just rather bless someone else than go through the hassle of selling them.

I have a bunch from my Mother-in-law that I probably should get rid of. The styling of them is outdated, but she passed several years ago and I can't bring myself to do it. I have a hard time purging crafty supplies.
