Our have come and gone, lol. We managed to work ours out so we got very little back this year. I kinda missed the excitement of watching for the big deposit though. we received ours Feb 4.

We got our federal in a few weeks (auto deposit) but they never sent an email that they received it, or deposited it. It just showed up in the bank account. The state (filed snail mail) we are still waiting on, it's been over a month but this is normal. Now that you mention it, we never got any notifications this year either. I tracked mine on "Where's my refund." It was deposited 2 days earlier than quoted. In fact, it was deposited the day after it updated to give me a date. I received mine within 5 days of filing.

Just filed. Using the money to update the house to sell it.

We haven't even filed yet - still waiting for the January/February RRSP contribution slip to arrive and then we are all set to drop it off at the accountant.
Once she files, it is usually in our account via direct deposit in a couple weeks.

I'm organizing all the documents today to make sure I have everything in hand, so I will probably have it filed by the end of next week.

We filed around Feb 12 or 13 and both refunds were deposited within the last week. Crazy. Guess my theory is true. We filed the exact time & are getting a check (not deposit), so I guess they really ARE ignoring those (checked "where's my Refund" and it hasn't even registered that they got it, same with state). Anyone notice the weird mailing addresses this year? Our CPA pre-prints the envelopes & I thought he made a mistake and looked it up... Ours has to go all the way to CA (from OH) and there are separate addresses for those getting refunds and those paying even more. I am guessing the ones that don't give Uncle Sam account info get pushed to the bottom as well. I thought I was crazy early considering most stuff trickles in at of just after Jan 31, guess not.

Ugh. I haven't started yet. We are going to be on the line for medical expenses. On the one hand, I'm very grateful to have both primary and secondary coverage which keeps our out of pocket costs low and on the other hand, we had a lot of expenses insurance didn't cover like travel expenses back and forth to Simmons and UTSW in Dallas. Those trips are five hours each way and we always stay at least one night. So I have to do the math, add up all the expenses, and hope that it hits the 10% threshold that lets us deduct them. I have a feeling it will be just short and I will have spent all that time tallying shit up for nothing. This is why I keep procrastinating.

Hahahahahahhaha! I think your question should be, who hasn't even started their taxes yet? That would be me! That would also be me. It's sitting there on the desk in a folder ready to be done. But it's HS soccer season so two nights a week we're gone. And I had a bad run in with Mr. Flu and still not feeling great. Spring Break is in a week. Worse case scenario I'll get it done then

We used the same preparer at H&R Block that we have used since before we got married! At least 39-40 years. I am going to call her tomorrow, if we don't have it. I would, if I were you. It shouldn't take them 4 weeks to refund you. Mine was there in just over a week. Unfortunately, I had had some debt on a credit card that I needed to spend it on. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg) So no fun money for us. But I'm thankful for it, just the same.

I just had mine done yesterday. I usually wind up getting them done mid-March, so I guess it's kind of early for me. I guess we'll see when I get my refund, usually it doesn't take that long, but I don't really pay much attention.

I filed our returns on 2/10 and received a fed refund within 2 weeks. We're still waiting on our state refund. The website says received, but not processed. I'm hoping to get it soon, because we owe in our home state (dh works on the Mo side, we live on the Kansas side). We don't owe very much, thank goodness!

I took my stuff to the accountant on Feb 11. I thought that should be plenty of time to receive all the required tax documents. It was weeks beyond that before I received everything. And I'm still not sure I have it all. So he is waiting a bit more before preparing it.

This reminded me to check the 'where's my refund?' site. We had our taxes done last Saturday, they were filed and accepted Sunday and our federal refund is due to be deposited on Monday. Wow!

Just had mine done today, I had a break even with the city, I owed the state $3 and I am getting some back from the federal. Odd how that works out but it is like that almost every year. I claim the same withholding on all three yet they are all different in the end. I am happy to not owe the state more and to get some back from federal. I like to be close but I hate to pay.

just finished ours today, and had the fastest acceptance ever! submitted thru turbo tax at 4:27, had the "your federal return has been accepted" text at 5:08! usually it takes 1-2 days at least. here's hoping they process our refund as quickly! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I have organized all the documentation for ours, but still haven't filed. I have, however, completed filing for two of my sons. So I'm in full tax mode -- I just don't have anything personally to show for it yet. Ha.

We still don't have ours. The app still says processing. I wish there was a way to actually talk to someone at the IRS.

Just filed ours about 3 Hours ago and expecting a refund. Wish they would hurry up! Lol We filed ours yesterday and we are also getting a small refund. We are hit and miss with them due to dh's overtime, which is always different each year.

We thought ours were filed two weeks ago. I did Where's My Refund yesterday and they showed no record of our return. Talked to our tax preparer and apparently our return was rejected within a day or two of it being e-filed and preparer missed the notification. It was an easy fix (issue with name not matching SSN on file) and they were e-filed and accepted yesterday. Was hoping to have the refund in hand by now so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long.
