As far as I know most of the papers are printed here. It would be too expensive to ship them. It is the embellishments that usually come from China.

Well I just looked at my recent pads from Michael's and they were printed in China. I then looked at my CTMH paper still printed in the USA same with stamps however the embelishments were made in China.

good to know I was in the city and went to hobby lobby and their paper was printed in China. I will just keep ordering on line. I really miss when there were lSS all over the place. I am in Utah and you could go anywhere and find a really good store.

cmputerdazed that makes me sad for the SB industry if you are in UTAH and don't have good lss around anymore. I really miss them too and really appreciate the one good one we have (and Tuesday Morning)! Sorry I don't have specific suggestions on made in the USA brands. I think quite a few are, though.

Heidi Swapp Christmas this year - made in China, Crate Paper Hello Love - made in China American Crafts - DIY Shop - Made in china Amy Tangerine by American Craft - Made in China These are all just paper pads - pretty sure the Shimelle that was available in the pads would also say made in China since it is made by America Crafts and packaged the same. Obviously it isn't too heavy to ship since these were all the cheap ones that I just purchased in the last couple of months.

Thanks all for checking I haven't bought much paper lately and was afraid it was all out of China. She'll it makes me sad too. There are still a few up north but few and far between.

Speaking of where paper is printed, have you been to hobby lobby and seen that paper that has the manufacturer's name printed all over the FRONT of the paper? It is the photo realistic paper. I think it says REAL TEK all over it. What is that all about? I recently used 2 sheets of it and I tried to cover it up but it is literally all over the paper!

As far as I know most of the papers are printed here. It would be too expensive to ship them. It is the embellishments that usually come from China. They travel by boat, they are not sent through the mail. Just like the electronics, toys, and everything else made in China we buy, sadly.

If so, all the other stuff made out of that brand of camo (shirts, hats, vehicle seat covers, etc.) has the name all over it too. It's part of the actual design.

I used to have a list but it's been a while.
Echo Park OA Jillibean Soup Lily Bee (sniff sniff) Basic Grey Graphic 45 Webster's Pages
Definitely not anything AC. If it is sold at Michael's or Target it's probably made in China
Kaiser Craft is obviously not made in the USA or China (Australia)
Bo Bunny it seemed to depend on the paper line
and most brands even if the paper is made in the US the embellishments aren't or only some of them are

Their individual papers are printed in the US, probably why the cost more and are of higher quality than paper pads. The pads are made in China...so if you want AC papers buy single sheets. Kaisercraft is printed in China. (Which if you think about it is closer to Australia than the US is to China). Not a massive fan of Kaisercraft papers usually; they are very thin.

My mistake on the KaiserCraft although technically it is not made in the USA... I don't own any of their papers and I can't zoom in enough on the computer to read the packaging.

Yes, it's kind of an in the woods type of paper - sticks and leaves and branches. I didn't know it was mimicking some kind of brand name stuff!

Not mimicking, it's the real deal! I have some of that paper and it's the exact same licensed print that's currently on my DH's truck seats, LOL. Believe it or not, they also make lingerie in that print. Thank God the man has the sense to NOT buy it for me!
