I had planned to be creative today, but my viscious cold has decided to revisit me, so my head feels like a football.
I DO have plans to spend the afternoon tomorrow at the LSS. I need to be there in the morning to register Jac and me for the spring crop. Then I will take my vehicle in for service, and return to the LSS for the afternoon before meeting Jac for supper.
My original plan was to simply pack my cutter, a basic tool kit, a cutting mat, glue gun, and my photos and then to purchase just what I needed for the pages I worked on. This is a good plan, as I also have some preorders that are in at the store, ready for pick up tomorrow.
But then I started thinking about the photos I am packing, and what I want to use to scrap them, and... so I have now added a couple of premade kits plus a couple of kits I put together myself.
Also threw in copies of the 2 peas March challenges, and the GIS Calvinball rules which outline special points for particular themes, colors, designs, elements.
My shoulder bag is full. PLEASE STOP ME from packing any more!!!

Oh I'm totally a less is more type of packer. It doesn't matter if I'm taking a vacation or going to a crop. Your bag is full so you are good to go tomorrow!

I'm a "I might need that" packer for crops. I always take too much.
That's why I loved going to crops at Archiver's. I wouldn't pack any cardstock, I'd just buy it there. I knew if I forgot something, I could find something in the store.

I have never been good at packing. Just put it out of your mind now. You are set. I am excited to see you tomorrow, Dee. Thanks for registering me.

I have a friend coming over to scrap and I'm trying to put together things so I don't spend the whole time she is here digging through my stash... I remember trying to pack to scrap outside the house and always forgot something, once it was my photos! Good luck!

I take very little with me, especially compared to my friends who bring in carts and wagons and bins. I have an XXL that has cardstock, trimmers, and 3 zipper bags inside. One zipper bag has adhesive, one has inks, a few punches, misc stuff. The third one is the most important and I take this one with me when I don't take anything else. It has my scissors, pens, adhesive rollers, my trimmer, etc. Sometimes I take just that bag and a plastic tote with some misc cardstock, pictures and other stuff I'm going to use thrown in.
I can get in and out of a crop in one trip, even a weekend retreat, as long as I can pile a tote or two on top of my XXL.

I spent Sunday with friends, card making. I took every thing. LOL. Two rolling totes, my cutter and an art bin 12x12 with paper and kits. I didn't use even half of out. But I'm in the camp of "if you've got it, bring it"

I got nothing. I always bring too much, and then I still end up missing stuff that I should have brought!

I keep Post-It notes in my scrap bag. If I want to use something I left home, I'll place a note on my layout and do it later.

Well, I finished 5 pages, except one needs a title, and I know I have the sticker sheet here at home with those words on it. If I can't find that sheet--a distinct possibility in THIS scraproom-- I can always use individual letter stickers or cut a title on my Cricut.
So, I prob used the equivalent of 10 pages, maybe pieces of about 15 pages total, and I took about 50 pages in all. Plus I had a huge stack there waiting for me that I had preordered (and which I didn't use at all) Ended up purchasing 3 sheets of cs and some Glossy Accents I needed to glue the wood pieces from one of my kits, plus some red glitter as well.
All in all, a pretty successful day. Over packed as usual, but that is normal for me.
I will post my pages tomorrow after I have a chance to take some pic's.
