I have some corrugated cardstock aqua letter stickers that I just keep using. They are a weird color and somehow the color is perfect for a ton of layouts I have done. I'm almost out of vowels and I hate it. I would buy more if I could find them, but they are really old. I know I have had them in my stash for years. The other strange thing about them is how far they have stretched. I really have used them on so many layouts that I feel like they should have been used up at least 10 layouts ago. I need to see if I can find something that is the same color since it seems to work so well for me. Do you have anything that surprises you with how versatile it's been?

Neat thread!
Enamel dots and sequins are used my the dozens on my layouts. I held out on using enamel dots because I didn't think I would like them as much as I do, but they definitely give that certain little extra touch that I love.
The sequins are fun and add a touch of glitter. Half the time I just take about 15 to 20 in my palm and drop them on the layout, and where ever they land is where I glue them down (unless it's on a photo. then I scooch them to the nearest paper area, lol)
I was RAKed a ton of letter stickers last year. I have used them on every single layout I've done since. I absolutely love them. Even the mini ones, that I wasn't sure they would have an impact. I love them because they make the layout look so much more cohesive, and my titles look more purposeful than if I just use my own handwriting on a tag. And they're not as much work as stamping a title.
I use cheapy stamps a ton too. The kind that you can find in the Michael's and A C Moore dollar bins. They seem to be small enough to use as a perfect little embellishment. And great for embellishment clusters. I have cameras, a polaroid pic, dreamcatcher, cute little phrases. And it's perfect for buying holiday stamps that you may not want to use year after year. And you can't beat the price. Even if I use it just once, it has served its purpose.

I have a few of the ones you're talking about, too. Like you said, even if you use it only once, it has paid for itself. But those alphas? Seriously. I think I have every font they make! Bought one set 'cause hey, it's only a buck and then I've just amassed a collection because I used them so often. Bazzill Ivy cardstock is another product I use a bunch that I was surprised to find I did. Just a green I picked up randomly, but I have found it goes w/everything! I use it ALL the time. Perfect Christmas green, grass green, and believe it or not, lake water green, lol. I snatched up a whole bunch when AC bought out Bazzill, for fear they would change it. My Chatterbox journaling template, too. I bought it a hundred years ago because I thought the circle journaling thing was cool. I think I may have used that once, lol. But the straight line one? I use that all the time because while I have nice printing, it tends to run off the journaling block. Can't do a page w/out that thing. Who knew?

Card bases. I never thought I'd be a card maker, but here I am. I haven't bought a greeting card for a couple of years.

I agree about enamel dots and sequins. Didn't buy any for ages, but they're among some of my most used items now.

I found a bunch of small letter stickers in a plain font and have been using them like crazy in my PL albums.

Enamel dots for me too! I have a hard time making a project without throwing a bunch on there I'd also say my roller stamps. I have a bunch of different ones that stamp the date in various ways and I use them all the time. At first I was worried the variety was overkill, but I'm glad I have the selection that I do since I date every page in some way.

I'm not surprised, but I find that I love using the giant date stamp by Studio Calico. Plus it would double as a great weapon of someone broke into the house.
I usually use enamel dots or bling on every layout.
Am also trying to use PL cards on my 12 x 12 layouts. I use them for mats, titles, paper for punches, cut out part of them for little embellishments. Watching Shimmel's (?) videos has been good for me.
I need to try to use some paint/spray splatters.

And I'll help you with those ink splatters. I do those a lot too. They look great with some enamel dots mixed in. Ha!

I would have to say my Big Kick. I bought the thing kind of on a whim because I had a rare 50% off Michael's coupon for Sizzix, and I'd wanted one for a while. Now, mind you, I already had two electronic cutters, a Cuttlebug and two big Accu-Cut machines already so I really didn't *NEED* another diecutting machine. But you know, since getting it, I use it all the time!
Even though I can make pretty much anything I want with my computerized cutter, sometimes it's just faster to cut one little tag or circle or heart or whatever out of a scrap of paper quick with that instead of firing up the computer and turning it all on. (I always have a computerized cutter set up on my desk, so it's not like I have to get it out and set it up. I just have to turn the computer and the software on.) It's also nice to have it to take to crops when I don't want to have to drag the whole computer, cutter, mats, etc. with me. I can throw the dies for the project into an Iris bin along with the Big Kick and I'm good to go.

I have been using embossing paste with stencils on my Easter cards. I've been coloring the translucent paste with inks and love how it turns out. I have colored the reg paste, too, but the translucent almost looks like glass.
I am another enamel dot fan!

I actually "met" her on the Project Life Swap & Shop 2.0 FB page. Thank you SC for banning me. Had I not been banned, I would have never been looking for the Lollipop Guild cards, and I would have never met her. We are having the best time this weekend!

I like the enamel dots that come in other shapes like squares or especially arrows/chevrons. Enamel dots are the best because I used to use brads a whole lot.
I have been known to take a cheapy stamp and put the actual stamp on my page as an embellishment. I don't really stamp, and I like the way it looks on the page.

Not exactly one product, per se, but since trying the Ali Edwards story kits, I'm scrapbooking more than I EVER have! Actually have layouts in progress for almost the entirety of the Craft kit, and have used about half of the Heart kit as well!
The actual product I am using CONSTANTLY right now is the Amy Tan stitching kit that was included in the SC Marks & Co.

Enamel dots are the first things that come to mind because I could never justify the price difference over brads plus I have a ton of brads. I could get a few packs of brads for the same price as one pack of the enamel dots and at the time that just seemed crazy to me these days however I reach for the enamel dots and pearls far more.
Mists. When they first came out I hated them, people went Tattered Angels glimmer mist crazy and everything seemed to have this muddy, brown look about it. These days however a few well placed drops of ink manages to get me very excited.
