Some restaurants top their TexMex/taco salads with them...
They seem like they have some sort of flavoring/coating, like the flavored Dorito chips have on them.
I don't see them near the croutons in my grocery store.
Have you ever seen them in your grocery, and if so, which section?

I'm in Ontario (Canada) - but I found some in the salad aisle with the dressings and such....I think croutons were there as well though. Maybe with the Mexican food items??

I just hunted those down last time I was at Kroger because I was cooking for a group and wanted to have a variety of toppings to select from. In my store they were in the produce department with all the other salad topping stuff. I know they have some toppings by the salad dressing, but the area in the produce department has a much better selection. Same for my Wal-Mart.

I see them in the produce section too. Not near the lettuce, though, usually near apples.

I've seen them in the produce section near the bagged salads in my grocery stores.

Yep, they are with the croutons in my store, which are near the salad items in the produce section. There are also a few varieties of croutons in the salad dressing aisle, but the big selection is in the produce area.

Our Giant Eagle has them by the produce, just past the potatoes and onions!

I've seen them in the produce section near the bagged salads in my grocery stores. Yep, this is where my store has them too. They have all the fancy dressings(read high priced) and other goodies to put on your salads all together.

We've had the Archer Farms version from Target and they have a few flavors. At my store it's with the salad dressing etc.

They are in our produce section on a rack next to the flavored almond slices. I like adding the tortilla strips to my salads.

They are in the produce section of my grocery as well. They are hanging above the case that has the bagged lettuce.

Target has them above where the salad dressing is.. not the cold, more expensive, but the regular normal dressing...
I like the onion toppings.. like the French crispy onions... all those are up in that area... at my grocery store there is a section next to the salad dressing.
