I understand that in Australia this is a long weekend. Here in Alberta it is a SHORT one. Daylight Saving Time starts tomorrow morning, so yet again they are STEALING an hour from my life!!!
I have a page laid out, waiting for some misting to dry on the background cs before I start gluing down the other elements. Hoping to get it done in the next little while.
Not sure what else I will be accomplishing craftwise this weekend. The house needs some work and we are going out to a local dinner theatre tonight. And then there is that jet lag brought on by the time change...

Getting all wedding-related and grocery-related errands run today (as well as the minimum amount of cleaning so I don't shudder every time I walk into my house) so I can SCRAP SCRAP SCRAP all day tomorrow! Whee!

I am in Fort Worth scrapbooking with a friend that I met on the PL Swap & Shop FB page. I would like to say we're being productive, but we're too busy digging through each other's supplies and agonizing over every single PL card being perfect for the slots. HA HA.

I made a card yesterday. Need to make a couple more today, then I'll be doing a couple of layouts. I also got a lot done in the garden, so more time in the craft room will be my little reward  |

Nothing creative for me. I'm cleaning out closets and purging lots of kid's old clothes and junk. 6 college kids are converging on my house next weekend for spring break, so it's time to get the rooms company ready. You know, the rooms that you can usually shut the door when company comes over? Not this time. I am finding the most interesting assortment of stashed items, from scout projects and dance costumes, to condoms (wrapped, thank goodness) and empty wine bottles. It's the full gamut of memorabilia, not all scrap-worthy.  |

I'm making baby cards for a pregnancy support group. Since my baby supply stash is pretty limited, I treated myself to a few new things. Right now I have 4 girl cards on my desk ready to assemble. I'll use the same design, change the colors and crank out 4 boy cards.

I am in the middle of my long weekend and loving the thought of a whole extra day. I started playing catch up on my PL album last night and have plans to keep working on it today.

I had a Fri night and Sat crop, and I packed up at 5 today and came home. I had pretty much finally finished my 3 album project and my son came home for the weekend from college. I never leave early - I always stay until the very last minute so this was highly unusual.
I was very unmotivated to finish this project and I threw away stuff at the end because I just wanted to be done.
There are a few things I still need to do before I store them on the shelf, but for most purposes it is done and I need a week to recover.

I made 3 layouts today and I hope to do a few more tomorrow. Yay!!! Hope to see them on line soon. I finished a facing page and posted it in the Calvinball gallery. Have a couple of ideas for a page or two today, but not sure if anything will be finished. Kind of dozy today... Damn DST!!! |

Yesterday, between the nice weather and a bit of cleaning. (Is it wrong to stoke the fireplace up so that you can open all the windows and still have a warm house?) I wasn't able to create anything. Although late last night, I worked on the silhouette cut files I wanted for a new layout. Hoping to finish a couple of layouts today.

I cleaned up my scrap room from a mess I left two weeks ago. It has been in the 60's and sunny this weekend so I have spent most of my time outside getting dirty.

I'm making St Patrick's Day cards! Rainbows, Pots o' Gold and 4 Leaf Clovers. My Silhouette is getting a workout. I'm not good with the Silhouette software, but I'm muddling through. I usually use SCAL and I'm much more comfortable with it. But I bought the rainbow from the Silhouette store, so I thought I would try the software.

I created friday, saturday and sunday. Was a great weekend. I made a card friday night, coloured an image for inside card saturday morning, practiced water colouring today.
