My mother in law left her farmers market granola at my house. I offered to mail it to her but she won't hear of it. Take the fucking granola back, I don't want it!

People drive like maniacs! Today, a guy passed me, at an intersection, when I was in the process of stopping for a stop sign. I noticed he was way off on my left side as I approached the stop, and as I was still coming to a stop, he swerved around me, into the opposing lane, and went right through the intersection ahead of me! I've seen a lot of bad driving over the years (and even some more bad driving today), but that one was actually a new one for me. Sure, I've seen people ignore stop signs, even red lights. And I've had people pass me illegally before. But the combo was a new twist. Points for creativity, I guess.

I am going stir crazy! I didn't leave the house all weekend. I was so bored, I even cleaned out a medicine cabinet and I never do that! I am so over my knee injury. I start PT next week but I am like a caged animal! I want to go back line dancing in the worst way! It was my only way to stay half-way sane!

Dear MIL just because you "have space" doesn't mean you need to fill a 6 bedroom house with extra crap that you might need some day. Newsflash you won't need it - like ever. Sounds like my mom. She has been in her big house for 40 years. She told me the other day that she has 2 junk rooms. One is a long, bonus room running almost the length of the house. The other one is the master! How much crap does she have?? Cleaning that out when the time comes will be fun!

Dealing with a hormonal teenage daughter....... I feel your pain. 19 yo DD wants to move back permanently in May from college (and go locally). I'm glad for the financial savings but she was not fun to live with in high school so this idea makes me very nervous!

She rearranged my daisies before she left. My ex-MIL used to move my ornaments around on my Christmas tree. Ugh. I feel your pain.

Whenever we leave on vacation, I always leave the name and number of my scrappy friend who would be able to either use my crap or at least get it to someone that will. I also have more Christmas trees than a person should own. I do go through my closets and try to get rid of unwanted stuff though.

I do hate that both of my boys act like damn baby birds when they are hungry (sometimes literally). I am willing to cook 3-4 nights a week. We also eat out once a week. So they have 2-3 nights that they can eat leftovers or cook for themselves (and me). I have already have broken the news to them.

I'm STILL sick..on week 4 now. Started antibiotics last night. Grrrrrrrrrr This sucks. I started yesterday with nasal congestion and went to my doctor today. Yep...sinus infection. My doctor told me that the upper respiratory infection that is going around North Texas is a really bad one. I am on 875 mg of Augmenting twice a day and I am guzzling kombucha tea and live yogurt like crazy!

I waited too long to take care of it. I was taking Allegra, and the Dr. added Flonase. That SORTA helped, but nothing is going away. So, I started Amoxicillin and a cough suppressant. I haven't noticed any improvement, yet, but I just started those. I sure hope you caught yours early enough that it will not torture you as long as it has me. Feel better soon!

I'm tired. I have a ton of crap going on and I keep saying yes to things I should not freaking say yes to. I'm barely managing to stay ahead of my job and I've taken on a huge vinyl project (why did they have to move six months after I put up the last vinyl project???) and agreed to shorten a wedding dress.
I need chocolate.

I bought a bouquet of gerber daisies and put them in a vase. And now my mother in law is telling me I need to put the flowers in a different vase in a different part of the house. And she brought me new bath mats because mine aren't good enough, apparently. She leaves tomorrow and she will probably leave a check because she thinks we don't make enough money. Sigh. Is your mother in law my mom? An old Asian lady? LOL! I can sooo relate, right down to the mats and the check!

My life is the result of the choices I make. Unfortunately, I've made some lifelong career choices that, looking back and knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have made. There's no turning back now.

Can spring break be over now? I can't wait for everyone to go back to school on Monday. I'm even excited to go to work this weekend and get away from everyone.

Adam Levine has gone blonde. This pisses me off. I am sure that he will change it back soon. At least I hope so! I think he found the ONE thing that could make him less gorgeous...I hate it, too.

Insomnia sucks normally.....but when I'm already sleep deprived from my little baby who is a night owl and hasn't been sleeping well and my teens who are up early and also prepping for a move it blows. I really really need a nap. And today is not the day for that. :-(

We had friends come in town and stay with us for 3 days KNOWING their son had strep and the FLU!! He was on antibiotic for the strep (we knew this), so that didn't bother me as much, but the FLU? Seriously??? Who does that? I have 4 kids, one is asthmatic, one is a 1 1/2. Two of my kids birthdays are this week, we had plans to go out of town for the weekend, and now we can't do anything, just anticipating the flu coming on. The husband swears he told my husband (my husband adamantly denies). The wife has apologized and said we thought you knew, but I don't understand why you would even consider coming if you knew he has the flu and you have all been exposed!!!! I am so mad!!!!!

What a waste of Spring Break! First it pours for the first couple of days...then Aunt Flo comes for a visit...the real fun kind. I'm in the BR every two hours (last month every hour, so I guess I can't complain too much.) The joys of getting old. I wish she would just pack her bags and leave forever! How do you women handle it who work outside the home?? Sometimes I really wish I could wear a diaper!

I am out of town and Dh had to go to the hospital last night so I am feeling less than useful. Not that I am much good to him, I feel bad not being there. He has had a bad string of luck lately with his health, he had a DVT that was terribly problematic, then got hit in the head with a 30 lbs medicine ball at the gym giving him a concussion and 27 stitches, and now has been having bouts of abdominal pain that are likely gallstones or ulcers, he is waiting to see. He is so health conscious and feels betrayed, lol.
