So who else has collected tons of a particular scrappy item and then not used them? I have over 40 rolls of washi tape. Had them for quite some time now but just used one of them for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I love the idea of washi and then I draw a blank on how to best use it! lol
What's your guilty pleasure?

I went through a phase of buying Prima flower centres a few years ago and ended up using hardly any. I donated most of them to the op shop/goodwill. It was a relief just to get rid of them

I'm pretty good about using my scrap stuff or getting rid of it, but my Cricut cartridges (mostly alphabets) are kind of neglected since I have a Silhouette and letter stickers... and don't have SCAL to weld titles.
My Cinch is definitely collecting dust, I really should use that thing...

I collect EVERYTHING, and don't use nearly enough of it!
I guess the biggest unused part of my stash are my stamps. I belonged to a CTMH 10-for-10 club for a few years, and ALWAYS purchased more than the minimum amount. I like the IDEA of stamps: they offer me so many OPTIONS.
But when it comes to creating a card or putting together a LO, they are often the LAST thing I think of. And when I DO think of my stamps, I spend hours looking for a particular one that I am SURE I own, until I give up on that idea and go with some other option. By the time the stamp set magically appears--or I realize I DIDN'T actually own that one, only used it at a gathering--it is too late to stamp anyway, because everything is covered up with something else.
So what do I do about this? I sort and resort my stamp sets so they will be easier to find. If I decided to give away or sell any of the sets, I would probably forget about that fact when I started frantically searching for the perfect accent for a new project...

Mine is patterned paper. I just loooove paper, but for the most part, I am a very simple scrapper. I try to use as much as I can, but I will never use my stash.
Now, washi tape....I use a ton of that on my letters! Have yet to put it on a page though.

Washi tape, buttons, flowers...even when I use them, I still have tons.
I have been using washi tape that I no longer love to cover the back side of brads on my pages so they slide into the page protectors without catching. I also use it to hold down my pages on my mat when I am trying to line things up.

I am with you on the washi tape! My brother even brings me super cool rolls when he visits Japan.
But I don't know how to use it, and always think it looks dumb when I do use it on a project. Drives me nuts.

Another vote for washi tape. They're so pretty (at least the ones I can't resist), but I struggle when it comes to using them.

In no particular order I have way too much naked chipboard letters, letter stickers and PL cards. They haven't taken over my space, but they do stand out as being a bit much and realistically I'll never come close to using them all.

I actually use my washi; although, I still have lots. I use my stamps, too, except for the intricate ones that I am supposed to color. I use those once in a blue moon along with my Spectrum Noir markers. I have many 6x6 paper pads that I hardly every use.

Over 40 huh? Sounds like you need to go shopping. I have well over 400. It makes me sick to think about it...but most of it I bought overseas or deeply discounted on clearance. I don't really buy much anymore (the HS stuff at M's got me, though).
Everything scrappy is my guilty pleasure. My room is currently being set back up (with some changes so between limited time and that, it's taking longer than I had hoped) after being taken apart for new flooring and small demo project to happen. You'd think that it would dawn on me how badly I need to stop shopping based on how long it's taking me to put everything away, but nope, lol. My husband can move many things full but I have to move them empty...so that means 4 or 5 trips from the garage to my room for everything he can carry in one and still, I'm in denial.

I am washi challenged too. I finally promised myself I wasn't going to buy anymore.
I had the same issues with stamps and just recently gave mine all away. It felt good to purge them.

Stickers, especially alphabet stickers. Either they're the wrong size, the wrong color, don't have enough of the right letters, it's always something! Then I end up making my title or whatever with my diecutter and they still don't get used!
As for regular stickers, I like them but for whatever reason I have the hardest time using them. I've been watching all the recent Glitter Girl videos and I love how she uses them on her pages, so I'm hoping if I look at those enough it will start to rub off on me. I wish she would do some two page layouts once in a while though because I need to scrap more than two photos per layout.

Bowing out of this since I have too many to choose from.

I found I can use up some of my hoard for gift wrapping. When wrapping an item with actual wrapping paper (I know...who does that???) I use the washi as the "ribbon" and paper flowers as the "bow".
