I am working on my 2014 album of my instagrams. I am very comfortable with typical design A or other formats with 3x4 and 4x6 pockets, but I am so stumped with the 12x12 layouts with only 4x4 pockets. I have no idea what to do! Maybe it's because I don't have my standard pre-designed 4x6 cards to get me started. For reference, all of my layouts are in the orientation as the one below, which was my first (and so far my last!) My tools are 6x6 pads, some 12x12 papers, tons of embellishments, and my Silhouette. I was also thinking of getting some Becky Higgins 4x4 cards but I need a break from spending! Does anyone know of a place where I can get some inspiration for this particular format? I did not expect to be so stymied by something as simple as a different photo size!!

Brandi Kincaid! She is bradeye8 on IG and over at SC. She does mostly square pockets and they are awesome. And she makes a lot of her own journaling cards piecing together papers, using her stamps, etc. I think you could get some good ideas from her spreads since she often includes SC kits in her 4x4 pockets.

I don't have a link but an idea: print a photo in that size, cut it into the smaller squares so it has a mosaic look. Does that make sense?
