When I was younger and skinny, I used to dress cute all the time. Even if I was just hanging out at home by myself. Anyone could have popped in at a moment's notice, and I would have looked presentable, with hair and makeup at least somewhat done.
But now that I am much older, and much fatter, I can't stand to wear regular street clothes most of the time--they are just too uncomfortable. I wear them when I leave the house, and if I am expecting company. But otherwise, it's yoga pants and t-shirts or sweatshirts. Flips flops or bare feet--socks if it's cold. I don't wear makeup if I'm not going out. My hair will have been brushed when I got up, but probably not since. And it's likely in a ponytail.
If I have gotten dressed to go out, when I return home, I head straight to the closet to change back into something comfortable.
What about you? Do you hang around your house wearing regular street clothes, or comfy yoga pants or pjs?

My house is warm in the summer.. 78 and I'm a semi nudist. I dress in a cotton skirt. That is all. I live by myself so I don't feel a need to cover up. If someone rings my bell I have to find my bra and shirt, or at least a shirt. I am not going to answer the door topless!!

At home, I am in my pajamas all day. If I am expecting company (family/close friends) I will put on jeans and a t shirt most of the time. I will put on dress pants or a dress for not so casual guests. As soon as my guests leave it's back into pajamas. I will brush my hair several times a day and bathe. I just like to be in comfortable clothes

I'm usually in capri shorts but they fit like yoga pants if that makes sense. T Shirt no bra..hair in ponytail..no makeup unless I went out prior and even then I don't always wear makeup. So yeah I really would like a call first so I can slap a bra on! Lol

Jeans and a tee shirt for me.
It surely will not be long until I'm a pjs all day kind of chickie.
I don't have anyone to impress anymore, anyway.

But I'm more like you, OP. Once I get home, I immediately ditch the bra and jewelry and change into "comfy pants" and a loose shirt. My hair's usually up, too.

I usually wear men's white undershirts and shorts/sweats depending on the temp outside. I have "nice" colored tshirts for when I venture outside. I'm a slob, if I don't change out of my "nice" clothes when I am home, it is a proven fact that I will spill something on it!

I'm pretty much always dressed presentably when I'm at home, unless I'm doing some deep cleaning chores or other messy stuff where I'd want to be in grubby clothes.
I work from home and though I definitely don't wear my professional attire anymore, I need to be fully dressed to be in the right frame of mind for work. I get up, shower, do my hair & makeup and get dressed before I start working. My hair and makeup are done more casually than when I was going to the office every day, but they are still done. My husband teases me a little for getting all ready for work when I am just going downstairs, but I puts me in the right mental space.
I wear dresses and skirts a lot, or shorts in the summer. Jeans when it's cooler. I'm loving Stitch Fix lately because it's helping me build a casual and comfortable but stylish wardrobe. My work wardrobe was always nice, but I've never been great at putting together cute casual outfits. I go way too boring left to my own devices.
I just feel better about myself if I am put together, even if no one's really seeing me. I don't care what anyone else does, that's just what works for me.

I understand about the comfy clothes and I have my own version. I wear shorts or jeans with a cute top -- but the softer more comfortable ones. I generally wear a bra, but not the underwire ones, the soft ones. I have some cute workout outfits that I will wear too. So basically, one step up from yoga pants.

I have cute slounge clothes that I wear in the winter. Comfy and I don't need to change if someone is coming over. I'm still looking for something for summer; I have to change if someone is coming over. I don't wear a regular bra, but I wear a tank top with built in cotton bra when I'm at home.
If dh is home, I'll put on some minimal makeup, no eye makeup and nothing if I'm home alone.
These are my slounge pants from Lakeside.com that I wear in the winter. I like the pocket; I can carry around my phone around the house if I'm expecting a call.

When I get home everyday, I've already been to work, gym, or errands, so I am done with the public for the day. I immediately go straight to shower and then to pj's.

I usually wear jeans or shorts and a nice t-shirt. Flip-flops in the summer, slippers in the winter. I don't ever wear much makeup and my hair is short and doesn't need anything more than a little scrunching, so those are the same whether I am home or out. I am home all day and have tried wearing yoga pants, but I tend to overeat and gain weight if I wear them everyday - if my jeans are getting a little tight I know it's time to cut back.

I usually wear yoga pants and a nice shirt. I even have my hair and makupe done too. Not every hard, since I usually just brush my hair and put on foundation and a bit of mascara. If I don't dress semi presentable, I feel gross and unmotivated to do anything. That's just me though.

Scruffy if I plan to do house work. Smarter if I don't.
I love to have a shower and put my pyjamas in in the evening.

If I am just home for the day cleaning and stuff, it's comfy pants or shorts (work out attire) or lounge pants as my mom calls them (pajama bottoms) and a tshirt. If I'm home, but doing errands, I will be in jeans or shorts and a presentable shirt. It may be a tshirt, but it won't be the kind I don't mind getting bleach on. I have very short hair so it's always presentable. I wear a lot of skirts to work in the summer and will keep one on and add a more casual top when I get home.

I dress pretty presentable 99% of the time. It's that other 1% that guarantees that someone will drop by.
I'm one of those people that absolutely cannot get anything done if I wear pajamas or even sweats/yoga pants. I have to be fully dressed with at least some type of footwear too.

I wear a lot of yoga pants and camis. It is hot and too hot to keep the air where I would like to so this keeps me cooler. I work nights at home and always do so in this attire. Only dress up if going out or shopping.

Right now, in the summer, I wear shorts & a tank top at home. The tanks are a tad more revealing than I feel comfortable with in dealing with the public, though, so I keep a folded t-shirt on a table in our entryway all summer long, LOL. And if the bell rings, I throw the shirt on quickly before answering.

lounge/yoga pants and either a t-shirt or some other big shirt. I usually take off my bra when I get home from work, too.

I change into jeans or loose lounge pants when I get home. In summer, I wear a tee or tank and in winter I wear a sweater. I don't take off my bra until bed. I think I'd be fine for any drop in visitors.
Tbh , I cannot remember the last time at home I was warm enough to want to wear less clothes than that and I don't find going bra less to be comfortable.

I rip off the bra as soon as I get home and am prone to going without pants, so I'm scrambling for something if a car pulls in the drive. In the winter I wear sweats or yoga pants, but I would still have to find a bra.

During the work week I get fully dressed. On weekends at home I'm more relaxed, yoga pants and a t shirt.

Loose lounge trousers and a t-shirt usually at home. Bra usually comes off as soon as my 'day is done' and no one is likely to come to the door with a parcel or anything. I don't like staying in my PJs because it makes me feel lazy (lazier than normal!) and I don't get anything done!

I like comfy clothes at home. Yoga pants a t-shirt and I do wear the bra that's like "sweatpants for your tits".
