I have my wedding album and a few photos of trips that I /we enjoyed and I thought I might want to look at one day [in 23 years I haven't ]. Other than that, I did not save anything.

Depends if those are the only pictures I have of those years. I'm sure I would pair down the pictures of him. I'm a believer in recording my life, good and bad. It would be like writing my autobiography and leaving out huge chunks of my life. Those years shaped who you are.

I wouldn't get rid of them now. Put them away. Then you'll have them later. You'll find them when you're cleaning out. At that point you can decide.

I keep mine but what I have done is ditched pictures of th ex by himself. If I'm in the photo I kept it.
Rencently I went through one of my son's scrapbooks where I had done layouts of his girlfriend - just her. I pulled those and tossed the photos.
Since you have completed albums, I would rework some of the pages - put a PL card where a photo of him was.
If you don't want to lok at them just don't get drastic because down the road you may want some of those photos of yourself or things you experienced.

Yes, they were MY pictures taken with MY camera and I earned the money to buy all of it. He wasn't in many of the pictures anyway, hated to have his picture taken. One of these days I will take our wedding pictures out of the album I got from the photographer and and cover his face with die cuts or something. Not permanently but so I won't have to see him while looking at everyone else.

I recently organized my craft room and had to deal with this. I tossed some of the layouts that were just of us. I put all the rest of the albums and pics in a tote and stuck it in the basement. I'm not ready to toss it yet because it covers a portion of my life and because a lot of the pages contain loved ones in my family, some that are deceased.

I just put those albums away. I'll deal with them another year.

The stuff with just my XDH and I I've put away in storage in my closet. I won't get rid of it. It's still part of my life, just a former part of it.
