Yes, I've done it with our chickens' eggs because they are impossible to peel without egg white devastation. It works great.

Sometimes I get tiny brown spots on the eggs, but they taste fine.

Too funny! I had read the earlier post about hard boiled eggs and then saw the oven method on Pinterest. I was just coming back here to post about it and this post was already created! I am definitely giving it a try. I know I love the bacon cooked in the oven so why not the eggs too! Isn't it funny how you have never heard of something and then BAM! it's everywhere!

Sometimes I get tiny brown spots on the eggs, but they taste fine. That was my experience, too. I baked them in muffin cups one time, and each egg came out with a small brown spot on the white where the egg had been touching the muffin pan. Other than that, they were beautiful and perfect.

It figures I'm already late to the party behind the Peas!

They won't be hard boiled, though.

Also in my electric pressure cooker. The bee's knees.

This. And although the flavor was fine, I had a totally irrational ick factor with those brown spots and will never make them that way again. I do mine in a pressure cooker and they are perfect even in large quantities and easy to peel.

Yes I have- it comes in handy when eggs are on sale and you can do a whole dozen at once and keep them in the fridge.

I tried this. I did it in a ceramic muffin thing and a normal tin one. YUCK!!!! Yes, the eggs were cooked to perfection, but the brown spots on the outside of the eggs were disgusting and they were mirrored on the inside.
I won't be doing this again.

Yes, I've done it with our chickens' eggs because they are impossible to peel without egg white devastation. It works great. We also have chickens and know the struggle of trying to peel fresh eggs. I haven't tried the oven method but we have had success with steaming them. I just use the steamer that came with our pots and pans. Bring the water to a boil, put the steamer full of eggs on and cover it. Steam for 15 minutes and put them in a bowl of ice water. Works great!
