I have been to less than 10 movies in 20 years. But since I loved the first Greek Wedding, I really wanted to see the new one right away!! It was just as good as the first! Didn't care for the character that played the daughter, but it was still funny. Super glad we went.

I'm SO excited to see this one.
Nobody else in the family loved the first one as much as I did. So I may have to go myself!!

I was hoping this was the case. DH says he thinks it looks more silly than the first. I really want to see it.

I go to the movies about as often as you do. Glad to hear you you loved this as much as the first because this is one of the few movies I want to go see. I loved the first one and was afraid this one may not be nearly as good.

Good to hear!
I was planning to see it. Dh and I are empty nesters these days and have been going to the movies more often. Heard a very negative review today but I know that doesn't mean anything especially when it comes to comedies.

At first I regretted not rewatching the first one before since it has been ten years. But...it all came back. You could watch the 2nd without the first, but you would miss out on some of the humor. Like the Windex.

DH and I both liked it, but thought the first one was better. Even though he denies it, those people are just like his family. IRL, I'm the outsider who married into a big fat Greek family.
