PSA- DO NOT just assume it's just a bad cold 2nd UPDATE

I heard my heartbeat in my ears the other night, I know weird right? I have been so tired since the first of the year and I had shortness of breath So, I made an appt with my Dr. We talked about my asthma and the change in seasons as a possible cause. She set me up for a few blood tests and a chest xray. Just as she was about to walk out of the room she said "let's just do an EKG"

That's when she found that I had a left bundled branch block in my heart and that an ambulance had been called to take me to the ER. I immediately thought blocked it must be an artery.  I was wrong, my heart was just so weak that the function in my left ventricle was blocked from working properly.

 Honestly I kinda felt foolish going in, even my DH was like "seriously you need to go in? I think you have just been in a funk, just push yourself to do more things you'll be fine" He feels SO BAD for telling me that. That's why I felt compelled to tell all of the peas. Most of us tend to just go on, despite not feeling well. Please don't do that, we have lost so many wonderful peas lately. Take care of yourself even when you don't think you are that sick.

Had I not gone in the Dr. said I would not have lived more than a couple of more weeks. My heart just would have quit. As it is there is only a 30% chance that I will recover fully. I will most likely have to have a defibrillator implanted.
