I was surprised to see the infamous webster pages planner (several colors, two sizes) at Joanns today for 30% off. I think the original prices were $37 and $54.
Kelley purkey planner stuff (dies, stamps, washi,etc) was also 30% off of $4.99 I think.

I haven't seen ANYthing good at JoAnn's for ages, so this news is encouraging-- maybe I'll have to stop by sometime soon.

Ugggghh! I am so tempted to get a planner! And then of course, I'd need a planner kit to go with it! But the *last* thing I need right now is yet another scrappy project! Anyone care to sway me, either way?

I don't "get" the planner phenomenon. I use a "planner" every day -- it is my calendar where I keep everything that needs to get done. Sometimes it gets a bit of decor - if a sticker or something is at hand or I have a passing fancy -- but it is really a TOOL and I don't want or need the additional pressure of "embellishing" it!

Definitely agree! I use my phone for my appointments and couldn't imagine carrying around a paper planner but I like the planner idea for the miniature supplies and like art journaling type of stuff. Definitely not its intended use! But I really need a new project right now like a fish needs a bicycle! |
