Do I have to buy a gaming system? They currently use the app on our Apple box but there is only one remote and they really want a second and third remote to play with friends.
Buying a gaming system for this feels like a waste. Any advice on what I could do?
Or, are gaming systems really worth it. Dh and I are not into it and my girls are really only into just dance, although perhaps they'd find more things they like.

We have several variations of Just Dance that we play on our Wii U, and DD loves them all. She loves gaming in general, so I'm glad she likes the games that allow her/us to be active while playing sometimes. When we got the Wii U it came bundled with SiNG Party and two microphones and she really enjoys that game too. We just bought the newest one (Just Dance 2016) for Easter, and it does have the option of using a smartphone in place of Wiimotes, maybe that is an option for the Apple TV version?
FWIW, we have an older "dumb" tv at home so the Wii U is what we use to watch Netflix and the occasional YouTube video on the big screen. We use an older Apple TV at our lake cabin but it doesn't have the gaming capability that the new one does.
From the Just Dance website below. HTH!

Thx! We'll look into using a smart phone.
