If you do, do the Project Life scrapbook binders fit in one of the cubes? I don't have an IKEA close by so can't go check, and don't know anyone IRL who has a Kallax. I'm thinking about purchasing one, but need to know if those binders will fit.

All 12x12 albums fit. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to or not, but albums fit on those shelves beautifully. You can fit 4 in each opening with a bit of room leftover.  |

Thank you!! I'm referring to the Project Life binders that are cardboard-like for covers--not the cloth or leather ones. I have quite a few I got from Michaels and which I bought with core kits. They seem to be about 13 inches tall (the binder itself) and I wasn't sure if they'd fit.

I wanted to add, for future reference, the inside dimensions of the Kalkax are the same as the Expedit.

I got my Kallax two weeks ago and I love it! I got the workstation which has a desk attached to the shelves. I didn't think I had enough room for the big unit but I did, so now I'm considering some of the other pieces.
ETA: I actually crafted on it for the first time this past weekend and it was like heaven!! |

I love my Kallax . My daughter and my mom bought me some for Christmas. I love how the hold my albums and my paper.
They are nice and sturdy too

I got the ones from walmart..had the expidite before we moved...now very happy with walmarts cubes!! and free delivery to home. exact same size as ikea's.

Thank ya'll for posting this, esp the pic. I did not even try to store my albums standing up, instead I had them laying down, as my Cropper Hoppers did not fit.
After this post, I tried, and they look sooooo much better, and I can store more!!.
