Okay, I kept checking for a thread and couldn't fine one. I'm going to go ahead and start one.
I really love Cydney. Good for you girl for not putting up with the guys ruling the roost. I love that she took Nick to task (even though he's the least offensive of the macho guys). Even better, I love how she hung in there and fought for that immunity idol. I really thought she had it. She looked so stoic and immovable and little Tai was all over the place.
Back to the reward challenge though. Julia did a great job with her team picks and poor Aubrey went so wrong. They didn't have enough people strong enough to keep those poles steady. When you watched Julia walking across the poles on her team, you could see they had them completely stable--she didn't wobble at all. The reward though--ice cream? They seemed to enjoy it and I'm sure I would do, but if I were out there starving, I would want sandwiches, meat, cold drinks--not ice cream. I also hate when they have the rewards back at camp. It's so cruel for the losers to have to watch. And you miss out on the attempts to strategize!
When Cydney decided she was going to target a man, I thought "yes!". Again, wish it could have been one of the other guys, but oh well. I never thought for a second all of the girls, especially the Beauty girls, would ban together and go for it. Do you think they knew ll along they were going to or do you think Tai's mess-up at tribal made them change their minds. Oh Tai, not so smart at all. It's always great to see someone (unless it's someone you really love) get blindsided. He was so shocked.
Looks like the guys are going to be really asses next week. Hiding the hatchet and axe, really? I hope this solidifies the others against them.
I'll try to remember to post Dalton's Q&A and Nick's Ponderosa footage. Can't wait!

OMG......"I'm not like the other little girls running around the island,Boo"! (At least I think that she said those words....my twins were in throw down mode! Bedtime was as wicked as TC I LOVED THAT SCENE!!! She called Nick on his shit, and she was spectacular as she did it! I was so hopeful that she could actually pull it off and have the numbers!! Next week.....it actually made me sick. I had no issues with Jason and Scott. Tonight....they made me sick. What dicks! I can't believe how they are playing like grown ass bullies! The nasty is out and looks like it's here to stay! I hope the girls stay smart and get rid of Julia.....right after they weed out more boys

Why did Tai vote for Jason? Yes. I had to watch at the end to figure it out because I was not sure. I think it's because of the Idol talk at counsel. I think he felt like they played him and lied about a "super idol". I hope he sticks with a dislike for Jason and works with the girls. I think Joe will as well!

Why did Tai vote for Jason? Yeah, I didn't get that either. There has to be some fallout for that.

Tai has an idol. He knows about the super idol. He was trying to cover his mistake in his revealing it.

I was really worried that Cydney was not playing smart, that she was being paranoid and it was too soon to make that kind of move. I'm glad I was wrong. I actually was starting to really like Nick, and was rooting for him to win, but the girls did good to get rid of him. Arrogance will get you booted out of this game quicker than anything. Cydney was smart to have targeted Nick first because she was closer to Jason and Scot and may have their old alliance to fall back. If they get back in a power position, they'll vote off the Beauty girls first.
I love Tai so much. I want him to win so badly, but I've thought this whole time that no one will let him get to the end, because who would want to sit next to him at final tribal? After tonight, I think there is a chance he could fly under the radar a little longer, and then sail through to the end by winning immunities and playing is idol. He has shown himself to be a fierce competitor. His only downfall may be in not being strategic enough. I don't know why he wrote Jason. I think he just got really confused by all the last minute talk after he revealed too much about the idol. He could tell things were shifting, but didn't know which way, and so he voted for the guy who he thought may have lied to him about the superidol. DS and I were confused about that bit, though. Tai implied that Scot and/or Jason told him about the superidol. Why wouldn't he have already known about it from when he found his own idol?
I still love Debby, but I think she's lost her mojo.
Can't wait to see Nick at Ponderosa. You know he will make it fun.

I thought the vote was confusing. Why did Tai vote for Jason? Why did the older man vote for Nick? And yes, the reward was kinda lame. But at the same time, it's so hot, I bet a root beer float tasted pretty darn good!

No one lied to Tai about the super idol. He read about it himself when he found his idol. When he let it slip at tribal what the super idol was and then realized that not everyone knew about it, he said "oh, that's what someone told me, but maybe they lied to me". He was trying to cover himself.

I thought the vote was confusing. Why did Tai vote for Jason? Why did the older man vote for Nick?! what older man? Joe? Why wouldn't he vote for Nick? That was the only play the brain tribe had and Aubrey and Debbie were voting for Nick too.

Agree with the others--Tai definitely didn't get played. He was feeling foolish for giving away the secrets of the HII (secrets only someone who had the HII or knew of someone who did would know). He lied (and not very well) about people telling him stories. I also agree that Joe (the old guy) would be foolish not to vote for Nick. Joe was on the outs, just like the other brains, and was going to get voted out himself very soon. His only allies are Debbie and Aubrey, so of course he would vote in a bloc with them. Okay, here are the links everyone: Dalton's recap and Ponderosa. Off to check them out myself now!

Didn't you love the face on Debby at the end when she looks at whoever like they were crazy and then turns back all serious and no expression. Priceless!

Definitely check out the Ponderosa footage. Neal was actually still at the hospital when Nick arrived at Ponderosa, which seems strange since he was there at tribal council. Anyway, Nick is arrogant, he admits his arrogance and laughed at it and at the fact that it allowed him to get blindsided. He really had a great attitude about being voted out even though he hated being out of the game. Honestly, based on what I saw at Ponderosa, Nick is someone I would enjoy hanging out with, much more so than Neal. And I generally don't like arrogant people, but I do like fun, confident people and he is those things as well.
I enjoyed Dalton's recap as always, He reminded me of how crazy it was that Julia couldn't hold out just one extra minute for the food. That shocked me when she dropped, right after Jeff said, don't drop yet--I'm coming back with food. And down she goes. You were up there such a short time Julia; you couldn't wait one extra minute?

I wondered if Tai hadn't been clued in that Nick was going home, but they had an agreement not to vote for each other or other Beauties or something. I think those agreements are silly to stick to, but there seem to be a few people every season who do.
I was glad Cydney took her fate into her own hands. I felt she was near the bottom of the combined Beauty/Brawn alliance, and she ends up in the middle of this one - and the middle gives her options.
I'm not sad to see Nick go - but he was my beginning of season pick in a Survivor pool, and I just lost those points. I was hoping his strategic chops (based on blogging about Survivor during the last BBB) would tone down the arrogance, but it didn't work.

I'm never sure if I should do it because I know you always put one up. When it was an hour after the show or something I finally thought, okay, I gotta talk about the show with someone! Glad I wasn't stepping on your toes. And what a good DIL you are taking care of your ill MIL. Hope she feels better. Oh, and my condolences for having Jason. Here I was all upset about having Caleb in the pool and he ended up being pretty great (other than the evac!). Jason though, I have no hope for, even though him talking about his autistic dd was touching. Gale, thanks for the link to the interview--that does explain a lot. So much that we miss in the edited version of the show!

Go Cydney, phrase of the season. My hubby and I now keep saying to each other, "Don't check me, Boo."
